But Saints are doing so well, from the manager, to every last player on the pitch and the bench.

The top teams are again going to come knocking.
I can see Keoman being approached by manure or Arse, or probably both. There are also bound to be huge bids for our star players, can Saints hold them off, or will it be another team rebuild come January.
I truly hate to be so negative, but this team and manager is almost too good. No they are too good, the top four will buy their glory and it looks to me that it going to come mostly from us, again!

A decision was made in the summer to let players go who really wanted to go and buy more players for the same money...they won't let that happen again. Toby isn't ours and I suspect he will go. Koeman is a man known to stick to his contract, so I'm sure he will stay.

11/12 wins.....lessons were surely learnt this last summer with contracts without release clauses I'd hope....

So cheer up, have a drink and enjoy it you miserable sod!....<cheers>

Also, have you not considered the possibility that the longer our run goes on the less likely it is that players would actually want to leave, there is nothing more enjoyable than winning in a successful team.

Why would players want to go to man utd or arsenal - surely they would prefer to stay at southampton so they can play in the CL?

If you hate it so much, best if you don't do it, it won't change anything.

I love the positivity, and am sure you are all right, but here is me being negative, Athletico Madrid had a great season, the best almost, and still were ripped apart come the transfer window.

I cannot see the holy four clubs allowing Saints to join in.

I get what your saying and i have that fear as well but it all comes down to how we finish this season. I cant see too much change in January so if we achieve European football next season i can see why our current lot would want to leave. Getting CL or El means more prestige and maybe an increase in wages for our players along with a secure 1st team placement.

They may be more interested in their pay packet which we could never match if Man C, Man U or Chelsea come knocking but in that case we're better off to be rid of them as they aren't ever going to be loyal. But i would like to think most of the current team have bought into Rons vision and would like to be a part of it.

I reckon Morgan will stay if we get into the Champions League. Pelle won't be going anywhere while Koeman is in charge and Ryan wants to sign for us. Would like Clyne to sign a new contract though.

Lets be honest - Toby Alderweireld will have known pretty much next to nothing about Southampton FC.

But what does he know now from his time so far?

2nd in the Premier League, approaching 1/3rd of the season, world class training ground and Koeman is here with a wealthy backer.

Must be appealing to some extent.
