I hate going back to work off the back of a bad result..

I was speaking to my Mam on the phone a week or so after the Carroll transfer. She's a 56 year old Northern Irish woman with no real allegiance to the area, but she told me she hadn't been able to sleep properly 'cause of his transfer...And I thought I took footy a bit too seriously!

Like everyone said, the 2 week break, although depressing, is probably the best possible thing to of have happened to the club!

 

well if that's a foul, then you should be able to win a penalty just by running into a defender in the box, it's the same principle.

My temper kept me awake for days. Can't sleep after a defeat. No drink offshore either and loads of opposition supporters to ask, @what was yoooouurrrr score today etc. As if.

 

I am getting over it but considerably helped by a few quid on Leon - my best mate, now! - @ 6-1. Last week I had a few on as well on Nolan @ ... 6-1. So it is obvious what I will do at the next home game - pick the player(s) @ 6-1.
