Sometimes we go out of our way to do something nice without really thinking it through.
Which is exactly what one guy did when he got the same tattoo inked as his dog.
The man, who has not been named, thought that his rescue dog had been marked by an abusive former owner.
So, in an act of solidarity, he too had the tattoo done – and uploaded a picture to social media immediately after.
Unfortunately for the owner (who undoubtedly had his heart in the right place), someone was way too quick to tell him that the dog’s tattoo was not a marking made by his former owner.
Instead, it is a marking made by vets of rescue dogs to confirm they have been neutered.
Posting the image of his new tattoo of Facebook, the man said: ‘For those of you who know Bear know that he has a tattoo that was given to him by his previous owners.
