Pompey were HR's second team last week, so make of that what you will.

Fredy is easily the best GK in the championship then Kelvin.

Regardless of whether James played for Portsmouth, he's awesome. He's intelligent, articulate, eccentric, does loads for charity and is a bloody fantastic goalie.

Bristol City fans won't agree with you Lapras - they don't rate him at all. He isn't able to command his box there as he did with us.

There is no staying up, only staying alive. Of that, I wish you well. Pompey are my second team, theres only one other team who gets more attention from me. Hampshire needs its blue-few, so just think of a way to steal a car park from someone, then things will be a lot easier.

    Too late! Remember this HR!

Are you stalking me? You know the laws changed now & you can be prosecuted, right?
    Now, shall we read it again;

There is no staying up, only staying alive. Of that, I wish you well. <Thats pretty straight forward.

Pompey are my second team, theres only one other team who gets more attention from me. <I look for Pompeys results straight after Saints, I cannot lie, but I think you might have the wrong end of the stick. The attention is usually of the gloating/winding up variety. I hope this does not hurt your feelings, but frankly, Pompey is only around for entertainment purposes.

Hampshire needs its blue-few, so just think of a way to steal a car park from someone, then things will be a lot easier. <Without that piece of land you are screwed, I stand by that comment.

So, you have a few young temporary loan signings who look promising, you've drawn your cup final & now you've just discovered that I'm actually full of resentment & not a fan. Better day tomorrow perhaps.

The amount of threads relating to this game and posts about it beforehand, particularly those about 'getting revenge', on your board would suggest that in fact, today's game was your cup final.

And 3rd eye, possibly but he was certainly a fantastic goalie for us.

its not that we don't rate him, we've all seen how great a goalkeeper he (heres the important word) WAS, he came here with the name calamity and hes lived up to that name, for every 7 games he has 1 good one, and it aint good enough, and if you watched the game yesterday you would of seen how good our 2nd choice was, Ive always rated gerken, but sadly James didn't live up to the excitement of his arrival, he's a good man and a good goalkeeper but he shouldn't be our number 1

I have to read every comment made on the Pompey board. When a Saints fan says that Pompey are his second team, I'm interested. You wouldn't find me writing the same in reverse!

So fair enough. But you can now be an honourary Pompey fan whenever you come to call on our board:) We need all the support we can get!

Meowth, I think HR is like many Saints fans, a Pompey well-wisher.

All wishing it falls down one....

I make that nearly 1.2 million quid then plus bonuses. Just puts players wages into perspective I think :s

David James was a great keeper, his experience is an asset and he is still a good player to have in your squad. I hear he has become a bit of a gardener and environmentalists. Pity there are not more like him, even if his career or philosophy is not quite as epic as this goalkeeper: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17593237
