lets be realistic, our team is made up of freebies, recent academy lads and a loanee. Just one of your players tonight was £30m, and you bring on a current England striker from the bench, amongst many other players that would walk into most Prem teams. Hardly a makeshift squad.

Our attack was good yes. We have almost too much depth there. The defense consisted of one recently injured left back. A youth player (until he was injured and replaced by that 30 mill striker) and two midefielders. Thats pretty makeshift.

I'm a bit stumped with some of the comments from the Man U fans, one minute they are saying their squad is the best in the land full of quality, the next they are saying we lost to their reserves and should be embarrassed!

Can someone answer me have Man U got a quality squad (which I presume includes the reserves) or not?

I'm surprised to hear that there are Leeds fans who are looking forward to Ferguson retiring. If it wasnt for him, you could still be ín Division 3.

Just think, Grayson would have met with him last night after the game and probably been given a few more pointers on how to scrape your way back to the Premiership. You should be thanking your lucky stars that you drew us in the Cup again.

    Grayson:

"I think it hurt them when we won there. Sir Alex doesn't like losing anything; football, racing or whatever. He'll send out a team determined to beat us. He was gracious in defeat in the FA Cup and very complimentary. It was clear he was gutted and devastated at losing but he was very good. He also gave me a few tips on what we needed to do to get promoted, which will remain between me and him".
