He has a knock and is a doubt for one game. Hardly, an injury that has ruled him out for the rest of the season. In fact for all we know he could still play against Liverpool, probably from the bench.
:-D, even Wenger says you have to lift the players up after bad games, i'm a fan, no different, i get down too after horrendous results and get down, if players get down, then so can fans.
RVP hasn't been injured all season, van der fart has been out more than him due to injuries this season, as has diving bale, and you really wan't to talk about injuries when ledley king can't even go 2 games in a week without getting injured?! once again, a spuds fan demonstrates how much sh!t they can talk. although i'd love it if you could your 'rock' ledley the not so king every week against us as it was fun ripping him into shreds, which i seem to recall you saying we wouldn't get passed him, LOL.

I havent gone anywhere to gloat over our victory - only chastised some stupid spuds for saying that we only won because of their tactics.
My views are the same - Wenger gets 4th minimum and rebuilds the squad in the summer or I want him to **** off.

When Arsenal play well, as we did on Sunday, how would you like fans that are negative to react???
Some of us are just honest about what actually happens - if its good its good, if its bad its bad.
Wouldnt it be a bit ridiculous to be negative after such a good performance?????
Nothing wrong with being positive after the win, but there is something wrong with wanting Wenger Out before and one result completely changing your opinion
I do think calling people plastics or insulting them is not terribly helpful, even though I have resorted to it myself a time or two.
I must say that I get irritated from time to time when fans say all our players are rubbish, and suggest that players like Suarez or Sturridge, playing for teams below us in the league are miles better. Or when they seem to think there is some vast conspiricy theory at Arsenal where no one at the club cares about winning.
However, I think that most Arsenal fans that take the time to write on here genuinely care, and will support Arsenal even if they lose. They may not like the conservative strategy that the club employs now, or fully understand the challenges the club faces, but they do want the best for Arsenal.
Unfortunately, I think due to the tabloid influence, the only form of debate at present seems to be hyperbole. You have to say that Wegner is mad, Walcott is complete rubbish or whatever. If you try to state your opinion more clearly or try to give facts, people attack you personally. It seems that saying Gazardis is a ****** and a criminal is a stronger argument than trying to actually debate the issue.
Not sure what the answer is. I think the Internet has fostered this atmosphere, in that you no longer respect the other person in a debate, as you might if you were talking to a mate down the pub. We assume that the person we are debating with is a fat, spotty ten year-old or something, and that all their experience is made up.

i was over the moon with our performance and result on sunday .. i still want to see wenger leave the managers job asap. since about 2006 ive thought things were wrong at the club, nothing has changed my mind fundementally since then. If anything the clubs direction since then has only served to reinforce my doubts through the appearences of some of the worst players in the clubs whole history (well since 1980s anyways) who i've been told by wenger are great players .. with great mental strength.
I don't want to enter a slanging match here about his history, success legend etc they are all safe and recorded, i'm just saying my view has not changed because of one game or a run of three wins or beating spurs in a great comeback, it wont change with 4th place either.
I agree some fans appear to be up one minute then down the next (like the team) and we seem to have made wenger the marmite manager and as fans have a lot to answer to for both unbridled support based on past glories a misconception he runs the clubs finances as well as the team and only see him through red tinted glasses and for some fans constant moans, vitriolic comments and berating of wenger (i take my share of blame here)
if we all just agreed that we want the best for the club going forward (which may or may not include wenger) and agreed that mistakes have been made but then on match days get behind the guys and boss 100% then we might not look like spurs supporters who have long since perfected the art of the love them one minutue hate them the next glory hunters.
If you need your team to play well and score a hatfull fo goals before you get off your backside and support them then sorry shame on you, yes we want something to be proud of and cheer but the support starts at kick off regardless of the performance forthcoming, that support extends to wenger as well.

The real problem with this is that the maths just doesn't add up.
"...buy 2 stars, and trim the 71 players." You could trim 30 players and not have enough to buy one star.
And, as always, the "Star" goes un-named. We never hear who all these stars are, that are unwanted by their clubs, despite being good enough to "obviously" walk into a top 4 premiership side.

Just pointing out the absurdity of your argument. A certain star, available for transfer. Not going to happen unless we offer Man City type money, certainly not 30M and 80K. That will buy you a Walcott or an Arshavin.

Answers to these seem pretty obvious to me.
Did you see Arshavin's goal? It was pretty weak. We don't play with that support striker role anyway. I don't think he isn't enough of a midfielder or defensively strong enough to play behind RVP for us. This is the danger of looking at a player in a different system and trying to find the same role for him in our team.
Walcott has to learn to do both IMO, and in order to come inside at all, he needs a full back willing to pull the LB wide by threatening an overlap. If the LB can just track him and keep playing him to the outside he has no chance.
Bendtner only played wide when we had RVP in the middle. Otherwise he was played down the middle. He did start life as a winger. He was a track star I guess and very fast and knows how to play that position better. He is going to need a lot of work to become a CF. He is one of the players I feel Arsenal got unlucky with. He just grew to much.
Not sure we have played Chamakh "behind the striker" too many times, but perhahps I don't understand you on this one.

Your whole argument is founded on me accepting that Arshavin and Walcott are (and have been) useless which I don't accept. Last year Arshavin was 14th and Walcott 16th in the premiership for goals+assists, hardly rubbish. And I dont agree with your Metersaker point either.
I'm trying to answer all you points, but really, to use your words, I can't be arsed. If you honestly think you know more about being a manager than Wenger, then I doubt you are entirely sane.
