Thank you Wizered. I can assure you there is no implied threat. I simply recognised you from your recent photo. I am not LARED but I know him as I do some other members on this board. I do not believe I have broken any Forum rules. I do however disagree vehemently with necessity to hate everything to do with the Gas. They are simply people who support another team. Sporting rivalry is fine, hatred because of who you support is not. I have friends who are Rovers supporters whom I consider personal friends and am able to discuss football with them without the need to say f**k you.. I have never sworn at anyone on this forum nor insulted them but you know full well that Banksy does go for the jugular in ways that others don't. What particularly upset me was as a response to some minor dispute Banksy persuaded Shinny to start the F**k The Gas" thread , then after one person objected Shinny deleted it but invited anyone else to open a similar thread. I simply cannot understand the mentality behind such a stance by a moderator other than to provoke confrontation. You only have to review Banksy's postings to see that he does wind up people and is quick to dish out personal insults. Indeed I spoke to one member on Sat who is not at all confrontational and he said be careful Andy as we all know what he is like. I now intend to take some time out but I can almost guarantee that if and when I do post again he will reply with something sarcastic. Quite simply the inability to put forward genuinely held views without risking being put down spoils an otherwise excellent forum for me.

That is part of the problem if you want to big up "gasheads" do it on their board, if you admire Warnock don't overdo it or you will get reaction, same goes for Holloway, I quite frequently go over on the "gas" board and give them a reaction, some of their responses make our fans seem quite innocent. People put up their own choice of subjects for threads, it's not for you to intervene, you are of course entitled to an opinion, how you handle individuals on the board is up to you and them, you can ignore the thread or use the ignore button but of course you already know that. One last comment if I may, shiny and banksy are two original members on this forum and in the bad old days when we were trying to establish ourselves it was people like them that supported us and carried us through, we needed them and their ideas then and still do now and to that extent you can understand mine and our members loyalty towards them. I'm glad there was no implied threat towards me and mine.
Right I get it , the people who matter on this board have no respect for "Gas heads" as you call them. Fair enough that is your opinion. I don't big them up I prefer to treat them differently. I also have opinions on how Bristol Sport treats its supporters and how matches affect local residents. My view is not simply "**** 'em" but to try and understand their concerns I don't think you will find anywhere on this board where I have commented on Warnock other than say he was nominated manager of the month, so I cant see how that is overdoing it. For the record irrespective of his footballing mentality I believe he has done wonders at Rotherham. He like Barry Fry is a personality who brings a much needed touch of humour to a cut throat business, I am glad you are loyal to your longstanding supporters, however, I trust you will also keep up to date with the views of other members on the board and give them equal consideration As regards Banksy I entirely get it he is now playing his emotional "poor me" card by firstly mentioning my implied threat to you, and now my personality disorder and classifying me as a stalker while congratulating the Gas on the Oskar thread.
