"I do believe it's all about opinions. As i said in an earlier post, i don't think you have to 'love or hate' him. However when he does things we're not happy with then we have the right as paying customers to express our opinions. Equally when he has achieved, we should give the deserved praise."

Your post of 9.03 asked the question: Do we have to love him or hate him?

My reply to this was to say that we need not do either.

I think you are playing word games here rather than posting with integrity, please correct me if I am wrong.

With all of the contentious and argumentitive posts you get on here you ask me about integrity.

Is this an ego thing, are we supposed to fall in line with certain posters?

Whether you are posting with integrity or not is entirely up to you I am merely trying to establish which it is.

A lot of people don't really like 'Arry and I've always wondered why! Even as a Chelsea fan I like him, he knows how to get a good piece of business done and has a brilliant eye for player (most of the time), a terrific man-manager and looks like he'd be a great person to play for. I do believe that he sometimes says the wrong thing in the press at times (unintentionally) which would be my only criticism of him. I wish him a speedy recovery <ok>.

Also sorry to hear Ensil, devistating news and hope he also makes a speedy recovery.

I also as a Chelsea fan have had a lot of time for Harry! Pleased his op went well, but this business about going to court over tax evasion in January, does not bode well for him! Surely the threat of imprisonment goes with this charge!

    Imprisonment?
    Can't see it somehow.
He's too old, too rich and too famous, plus his heart operation will probably completely remove any chance of it happening.

Might put an end to his England aspirations, though.

I'm sorry but whenever we talk about Harry there is always some prat that comes on and talks about the tax issue, usually with little knowledge of the case. This is not thread to do that, we are here to talk about his achievements and wish him a speedy recovery. If you want to talk about that, welcome, otherwise save your comments for a more appropriate time and place.

I see the Beeb has brought the subject of his trial up. The trial is on 23rd January, more than two months away why bring it up now when the man is recovering from heart surgery.

Yeah, I have to say that it's a pretty poor time to drop the injunction.
Could've waited a couple of weeks, at least.
What difference would it have made?

Agreed Spurf, not a nice thing to be going through after any surgery, let alone HEART surgery!

To be fair, Harry's op was rather routine, unlike major heart surgery. Nobody would wish him ill health, but it's not really an excuse not to talk about his alleged tax evasion.
I was directed to make my comments on this thread as it was deemed inappropriate to start a thread on the issue,
    but my question is:

Would Spurs stand by Redknapp if he's found guilty?
    Or would they sack him?

Who would take over? Joe Jordan in the short term, but if Levy has been looking for a replacement (considering Harry's probably now defunct England aspirations) then there may already be someone in mind.

If Harry is given a custodial sentence (which is a possibility) then surely it would force Spurs' hand to replace him?

If he's found guilty, then I'd expect Levy to stand by him, in all honesty.
Redknapp's still claiming that it's basically a mistake or an oversight, so I don't think that he'd faced any action for it.
It didn't happen during his time at Spurs, either.
The possibility of a custodial sentence seems extremely remote, so I think we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

It will probably be a good thing to get it over and done with and out of the way, the sooner the better for Spurs really.
