My girlfriend is a Spurs fan so I get to watch a lot of games you play. I like Spurs, when there in form they are a great side to watch.

But what the topic is about, Harry Kane.

He is possibly the worst player I've seen play in the Premier League and actually get multiple games, is there something I'm missing which you guys can tell me about him because to me he's a average Championship player at best.

You and me are going to fall out with that blaspheming of Kane.

I'm surprised to see criticism of him, he's only 20 and clearly a tidy player. I don't know what standard of 3rd choice striker we're supposed to have but he's good enough and if we persevere with him he'll surely get better. Obviously you're exaggerating by saying he's the worst player you've seen in the Premier League, unless you haven't had the honour of seeing Sanogoals playing for the scum.

I think Kane is a poor player and not good enough for Spurs but there is others on here that rate him highly, only time will tell but I'd be astounded if he ever got 10 PL goals in a season.

Worst player in the Premier League... LOL. You need to watch more teams and more games.

Wickham, 21 years old - 50 games in all comps for Sunderland, 10 goals. For England U21's - 17 games, 6 goals.

Kane - 21 years old - 30 games in all comps for Spurs, 7 goals. For England U21's 7 games, 5 goals.

Seems like a real poor mans Wickham.

I know he's still young. But do I see him evolving into some Lineker, Clive Allen? No, I don't. Whoever said third choice striker was pretty much spot on about Kane's level, IMO.

Kane's ok, but he's struggling a bit with luck and service. The OG and bar strike probably sum up the way things are going for him.
A decent run of appearances from the bench and the odd start, plus his U21 games and I think he'll steadily improve.

  14. I never boast. That's just one of the many special things about me, and why everyone whom I have ever met has commented on what a great bloke I am.

Harry Kane would go way up in my estimation if he married a girl named "Candy".

I think he'll score at least 15 in the PL in one year eventually. He was truly woeful yesterday, no doubt. He seems to have lost his confidence and may take a while to get it back. But he's looked fantastic in a number of games this year. I honestly think even given the confidence issues, if he had a long run of starts we might be pleasantly shocked at how well he does. His work rate is outstanding, and he's had a number of quality passes and finishes this year. Kain is able.

To me he doesn't have anything, not much pace, doesn't seem very strong and his ability in front of goal is terrible.

You have Adebayor (who is an outrageous person for vice captain IMO) and Soldado who are good players but then the drop in quality for Kane is massive imo.

Out of top teams only Arsenal have a worse striker choice off the bench.

Man U have RVP, Rooney and Falcoa
Chelsea have Costa, Remy and Drogba
Liverpool have Sturridge, Balotelli and Borini/Lambert
Man City have Aguero, Jovetic and Dzeko

I agree with you about the drop in quality, as he's young and inexperienced, but I think he's got potential.
Drogba looked worse than him the other night, somewhat bizarrely. He might finally have come to the end of his career.

He should of never come back, he did everything he could with Chelsea and left in the best way possible, coming back just comes across as one final pay check.
