You will have no complaints on the Saints comment fella.
I agree you'll likely get a right pasting over in Germany too.
    How times have changed.
A decade and a half ago the top the top 2 were NUFC and MUFC.
    That's football for you.

That's it mate, you've got to enjoy it while you're at the top because who knows how long it's gonna last?

The only reason you lot fell off is because of who was running your club, too much too soon springs to mind, all seemed a bit desperate and cut throat at the time. Your current owner has less ambition but more common sense by the looks of it.

Ambition seems to be the key to success at every club that has ever won the league, well that and King Eric.

What you on about rabbits for you oddball?

City all day long, never Liverpool although if they win it, then I have to admit the best team has won the league. I don't envisage any sustained success for them mind, I reckon Suarez will be off soon enough. I'd be delighted if it was Chelsea, I'd find comfort somewhere if it was City but I would hate it if it was Liverpool. It was never going to be Arsenal.

As for your how low have we 'Slunk'. I can settle for a season or two of rebuilding and change and being ridiculed by the likes of Southampton's whipping boys, I can only imagine how hard it is accepting that you'll never win anything in your life as a fan though.

You are the oddball, clearly you bookmarked this thread from two weeks ago in case you didn't get that thrashing from the Germans. You oddball stalker.
I bet you wouldn't have shown your ugly boat had you been trounced last night but results talk I suppose.

As for the season or two of rebuilding, dream on it could be another twenty years before your team win the league again. Get used to it. I can see you doing another Liverpool. And you've finally got the manager you deserve, Moyes is the right one. Moyes in.

Hahaha touched a nerve little boy? It was on the 3rd page of your board mate, never took me long to find at all. Of course I wouldn't have been back if we got smashed, I also didn't come back to gloat about a draw either you absolute mong, if you read my comment it was an honest assessment whereby I still admitted we are likely to be humbled in Munich.

As for your Mysitc Meg predictions, fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion but that's all it is right now. I'll be inclined to believe it more and more the longer we go on without success but excuse me if I don't believe them now. Even if we did end up having a 20 year period like Liverpool, we'd still have a load of trophies in that 20 years, to compare to your fantastic haul of NONE!

    Easy.

You are assuming that you are just visiting Mediocreville. Could be that you are. On the other hand, could be that you're not.

Having no Champions League income will be a blow but I am sure that you have the cash reserves to survive it for a season. I expect, though, that your going to need to sign, what, 8 first team players over the summer ? hard to see you getting much change from £100m for that. Assuming, of course, that you can sign them - - you seemed to have some difficulty last summer and you were a lot more attractive at that point.

The 8 newbees might gel into a top 4 squad, in which case you will have been passing through the mid table much the way we passed through the Championship. They might not, though. None of Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs or Everton are going to step aside so that you can regain your accustomed seat. if you go 2 years without Champions League income, I'm not sure that your piggy bank will have enough left to repeat the process. In which case you might have to get comfortable with the idea of getting by on a league cup success every decade or so like the rest of your mid-table neighbours (except, of course, us).
