    Used to love Christmas as a kid (obviously) as it was the only time of year you could get something that you really wanted. And looking back, thinking about the memories of my Grandad dressing up as Father Christmas, watching my Nan and Grandad dance together to Nat King Cole and seeing my old man and my uncle getting pissed and trying to play twister with us kids .. .special memories.

    Sort of became indifferent to it in my 20's and 30's, but since my daughter was born, the magic has returned and it's lovely making the effort to bring the excitement of it all back. Advent calendars, writing letters to Santa, watching christmas movies etc. We watched 'Elf' last night and she was like 'Dad, some people don't believe in Father Christmas !!!' Bless her.

    I love Christmas because my kids love it. Otherwise, I really wouldn’t be that fussed.

    I hate all the hypocrisy that gets vented at the stroke of Midnight on New Year’s Eve. Loads of drunken ****ers telling one another how much they love Mankind before staggering back to their ****holes, stopping only to take a piss on some poor bastard’s car.
