Unfair and wrong. I don't think I've ever seen a boring Norwich game. Frustrating- yes, disappointing - yes ; but not boring.
Fair point, perhaps the wrong word. It's controversial when you realise that the blog is directed at all fans, not just Norwich fans. I think we're dull - not to me, admittedly because I'm interested, but I don't see why another fan would be particularly interested in our matches. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Interesting, though, that other fans in the comment section seem to disagree. I suppose you could argue that the Norwich reporter has written what he knows a sizeable portion of Norwich fans want to hear, but plenty of others don't. The comment incites debate, as adequately demonstrated here.
Yes, it is interesting, and, for me, very surprising. On the second point, it's the only discussion in town. It just goes on and on and we fall out with each other more and more often.
I absolutely know how online advertising works, which is why I am more than confident that you are wrong. Believe me when I say this piece wasn't written for clicks, visits or controversy. It just wasn't. Laughable to suggest it was to be honest.
I also noticed that the bbc described this match against Palace as "absorbing" so that's one neutral (admittedly not saying they found it thrilling) but at least not suggesting the match was boring. I agree it's the main focal point (and what a relief is Cove's thread/the transfer window!) but equally I think that it's only to be expected while we are not playing well and are battling relegation. Take a look at the Swansea board! I think, so long as people are looking at it with a fresh view point (take Carrabuh's thread a+b=c) then it's perfectly reasonable. Arguments occur because people keep being totally unreasonable and when called up on their exaggeration or misunderstanding they then get abusive. That happens all the time whether we are doing well or not
Well so far your argument has been solely negating. You've described me as absolutely wrong, and laughable, but not actually provided a viable alternative. What is the reason for it then? You will note that on today's bbc website there is an article discussing stories about North Korea, where they emphasise that the reason the national press gets so excited about the stories, no matter how unbelievable they are, is that newspapers rely on online hits, and North Korean stories are of guaranteed interest. So you'll forgive me if, given your lack of any substantive point, I'm just going to consider your posts on this thread as valueless and rude.
