Having lost today it looks as though our season is over. With Everton and WBA both winning comfortably I think 8th position is now unlikely since we would need to gain 8pts over the Baggies with 9 games remaining. I do hope however that the players will still perform until the end of the season to amass as many points as possible and to ensure a fourth successive 9th place finish.
Yrsterday was one of our very best performances. We deserved atleast a point and matched them in every position on the park. It was 2 silly mistakes that cost us dearly today.
I agree, nothing wrong with the last 2 games vs Citeh and Chelsea and it was the two individual errors that cost us yesterday. I was hoping the baggies would still be on the beach yesterday but I just think that we may not now catch them and nick 8th place.
