Just looked it up...

Shadow banning: Banning a user from a web forum in such a way that the banned user is unaware of the ban. Usually takes the form of showing that user's profile/posts etc only to that user; other users never see them.

i.e. you wouldn't fcking know about it and they wouldn't tell you.

i.e. you're not shadow banned ffs! You're just banned <doh>

Knew him (well I was more a friend of his brother Alec’s) when he was younger, he was ok, when he started becoming famous was a bit of a twat, not seen him for donkeys years
