The way some crap all over him , especially you and Dai , what would you call it . Don't deflect , move on without the "disrespect "and we will all move on , simples . I know it's extra hard for you phil , have a go at one of the players for awhile or something and lay off laudrup.
Monk is to be made permanent manager for next season once he completes what he has to do in the summer....Jinx wants him, The players want him and the vast majority of fans want him, He deserves the opportunity after the way he has turned the club around under so much pressure....Monk has earned the respect from fellow managers also with the way he has taken to the job...Good for him and the right choice, Trundle has been a huge help on the training field and supported monk in Naples...
Guys like you aren't right in the head phil. You **** on Laudrup ever since he got sacked , someone calls you an ungrateful tool , and you say people can't move on about Laudrup . If it wasn't so foolish it would be hilarious.
We're not safe yet so to say he'll have the job now is a bit premature don't you think, .and I think you'll find that KOL has been brought into the inner circle, more so than Trundle , thats not to say that Trundle isn't around but he goes away in his official capacity as Club's Ambassador .
Watch this space....the word coming out of the liberty that the job is monks regardless what happens and trundle is being lined up as his no2.....I personally think it's a good move and the way forward.
Depends on how the results go for the rest of the season i suspect Musty. But then again, hasn't he not finished his coaching badges yet? As it stands, I would rather see a more experienced manager come in, with Monk on the coaching staff to further his development and then maybe take over in a few years. However should he do well for the rest of the season, maybe the board will give him the opportunity.
It's the same as the fools and there"39 " games . This time last season we had 10 games left , had 40 points , won the League Cup and a berth in Europa , nobody cared then about the 10 games left. This season we have 11 games left , 28 points and 4 points above the drop . See the difference there
We were in a much better position this time last year, before the continuous slide in performances began
nobody cared Is that why useless made a big thing about we must win our last game at home to end our dismal run and end on a high...We promptly got hammered by fulham who could not buy a win before that ...
Dai, if my memory serves my correct, we battered the living hell out of Fulham and they had three counter attacks and scored three goals.
Agree with this as he has time on his side , he'd be better placed as an assistant right now ,this is an unforgiving business and if results go against him and he gets the sack where then for him ? back down into the U21's. aAnew man tends to bring his own staff in ( see recent events as perhaps shown ) he hasn't completed his Pro licence yet which takes a year to complete so there's a lot of pressure not only on the pitch but a lot more off it with additional time needed just to qualify to be a manager in the PL.without his coaching badges to complete .If it's true then the Board are taking a bigger than usual chance with Monk as a novice manager than perhaps a more experienced one .
