I am no financial expert but can only really comment on what I see which is the playing side. So far no investment on the playing side, all incoming transfers paid for by outgoing.. Ki out of contract, so could do what he wanted, Fab wanted to stay in the PL to keep earning PL wages, Angel and Leon sensibly realised they were past it and finished. Baston, Mesa and probably Gorre were not up it. I don't know who you are referring to as 12 year olds but Asoro and Dhandao look useful signings and are at the age where they should be challenging for a first team spot. Govea we haven't seen yet so can't comment. I agree we do need an experienced player alongside Mcburnie and an experienced midfield general Perhaps A Ayew going will free up some funds for this. Now we need to offload Bony and if the rest stay we will be ok. If they don't of course then we will need to do something.Potter has said we have targets in mind so it'a case of wait and see and I know patience is not a srong point with many on here
Great having targets in mind, but surely we have to act, I know we are waiting for players to go, but quite a few have already decreased the wage bill, do we wait till the last day of the window as per usual and then lose some more only to fail to cover them because we are to slow to act or trying to penny pinch and get something on the cheap. It would actually have been nice to have had a bit of the squad we are going to start the season with actually playing together and getting to know one another or maybe they have because the Yanks have taken so much money of to Yank land and paid for Rooneys contract at DC UTD that we wont be be actually signing anyone of note. All round I am seriously disappointed with the way things are going and at least 90% of the fans I speak with feel the same, that once again both the fans and the manager have been sold down the river by the robbing, cheating lying bastards that are the yanks and the big nosed ****er.
If the yanks are only going to spend what they get on transfers, which seems to be the case at the moment, then we are hostage to the players who are RUMOURED to want to go. I am not saying I'm not disappointed but we have to live with it in this money mad world and what will be will be.
Well maybe we should stop loaning players then and sell them, we don't help ourselves, I understand the need to reduce the wage bill, it had to happened, but we are going to end up ****ed come end of window with nobody of any consequence coming in and all those so called PL players leaving last minute, you can bet your last dollar that is what will happen and the excuse will be made well we tried to do some business but ran out of time, happens all the time. we are simply not professional enough.
The yanks are venture capitalists, if you think they are going to spend any sort of money on signings then Robert`s your fathers brother. They have to garner as much filthy lucre as they can for their own & all the others fat deep, deep pockets. They are not making as much of the dirty stuff that they had envisaged when lured in by big nose & the other lying scumbags.
What do you think, no no and no, not sure we will but we will certainly off load a few more as the yanks need to fund DC united a bit more.
Let`s hope that it will be Lawrence Grix and Kev that go and sort out conky. That should sort his constipation out.
