He can still sell them to one of the directors....There is a big difference in holding shares to actually owning the club......As owners which the Morgans were they could sell the club to anyone and the shareholders can either accept it or sell their shares which most did to the new owners....
He has to offer them to the other shareholders - not directors! The Morgans owned 225,000 out of 950,000 shares. As such, they were minority shareholders - just like Huw (125,000) and Rob Davies (100,000) for example. Indeed, Huw and Rob combined matched the Morgans' shareholding. Look at the Annual Return filed in November 2015 https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/04305508/filing-history
.Admittedly Morgans' were considerably richer than Jenkins and maybe they helped him out in along the way but the fact remains , t-h-e-y s-o-l-d t-h-e-I-r s-h-a-r-e-s o-f a c-l-u-b t-h-e-y h-a-d p-a-r-t o-w-n-e-r-s-h-I-p i-n
Who were the main shareholders and who has always been the ones everyone else classed as the owners......stop being silly....
There was no Main Shareholder - there was no Majority Shareholder. Huw & Rob combined owned the same number of shares as the Morgans. I know that, everybody else who reads this thread knows that. You are as wrong in this regard as you were wrong about Tax Years in another recent thread. But hey oh, you are entitled to your opinion. Just for devilment, the next time I see Rob Davies I will tell him your theory...... I know what he will say.....
Unfortunately, you are yet again incorrect. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/apr/19/swansea-city-owners-sale-takeover-us-investors
Seems that Dineen has now fully sold out http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/...s/steve-kaplan-jason-levien-increase-14168730
