Alreay stated I'm not for retrospective action as it encourages ref on the day to take the Wenger apprach to seeing. If they get it wrong they should be demoted. Get it wrong too many times: they should be sacked. In this the stamp I believe there was a referees assistant there as well!! I do find it interesting that Suarez does not get the benefit of the doubt (THAT dive aside) because of a so called reputation but Huth apparently does. I remember watching many a game as far back as his Middlesborough days where I always had one thought about him: "Animal" So how do referees that have watched Huth time and time again give him the benefit of the doubt? As for fans hating players, its all part of the game. Part of which is pantomine. Our sense of fair play is always skewed alongtribal lines in what we think is cut and dry and debatable, with the odd exception like Suarez dive. It's also why "professional refs" should be pressured into upping their game as the neutral judge.
To be fair, Man Utd have Stoke next so if there was an agenda along these lines it would have been in Man Utd's interest for Huth to be banned
But they would have had to charge RvP and that was No help to United Lets see how lenient the ref is in this game eh
Not sure if anyone has read it but there is an article on Kightly on the Daily Mail website - he's jumped on the bandwagon and has come out with some funny yet hypocritical comments on how Luis Suarez is ruining the game. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ez-killing-football-says-Michael-Kightly.html
The part where he condones simulation negates the rest of his rant. 'Sometimes players know a tackle is coming in and ride it and go down. That's good play, winning a penalty.' Just looked at RvPs again, as wit the stamp not life threatening but its a straight red. Webb so no surprise but considering he was so ready to book bosingwa when he never touched rooney is the opposite of what he did against Newcastle, but funnily enough both contradictory incidents were in favour of Manchester United. Howard Webb is put out there to almost guarantee desired results for who ever his masters are. The premiership and the FA are ridiculously corrupt. they're South American\Spanish\Italian FA UEFA FIFA corrupt.
