Alreay stated I'm not for retrospective action as it encourages ref on the day to take the Wenger apprach to seeing. If they get it wrong they should be demoted. Get it wrong too many times: they should be sacked. In this the stamp I believe there was a referees assistant there as well!!
I do find it interesting that Suarez does not get the benefit of the doubt (THAT dive aside) because of a so called reputation but Huth apparently does. I remember watching many a game as far back as his Middlesborough days where I always had one thought about him: "Animal" So how do referees that have watched Huth time and time again give him the benefit of the doubt?
As for fans hating players, its all part of the game. Part of which is pantomine. Our sense of fair play is always skewed alongtribal lines in what we think is cut and dry and debatable, with the odd exception like Suarez dive.
It's also why "professional refs" should be pressured into upping their game as the neutral judge.
