I also didn’t like that the players are leaving a day early. He’s worrying too much about all the wrong things. I’m sure the players can survive a drive to Swansea the day before the game when they have all morning on match day to sleep and would rather that than an extra night away from their families.

Seems surreal preparation to me too Yorkie.

I guess one positive is the squad will have a lot of time together, so perhaps can get a bit of unity?! I don't know.

If there is any disharmony in the squad, this is a very questionable decision at best.

Yep enoughs enough, Think of the Club Hurst and the fans who have been sold down the river by the Spivmaster yet again, you will find another Club and give ITFC the chance to find a more qualified replacement.

If he does go we MUST recruit a Town legend because that looks to be the only way we will over perform relative to the constraints on the manager.

The only viable alternatives for me are a) the Burley and Butcher duo with Dyer involved and b) bringing back Mick for the remainder of the season.
 
Definitely not Mick! Although you know he would have us finishing 12th - 15th without fail

Burley/ Butcher sounds exciting but in reality that’s probably just nostalgia talking

Butcher a massive no would be a car crash.

Warboughton on paper good..... plays good footy but there’s zero point trying to play much with this league 1 squad.

I’m just beyond how hurst has absolutely made such a hash of this.

He also has as much charisma as a doorframe in interviews and loves spelling out the obvious.

The owner doesn’t make the decisions I would make, but I think it’s a plausible option, at a time when we are running out of options.
