Goodness Canary Dave, very sorry to hear that, and I am sure you are on track with checks, medicals, diet...and dont forget to ask for 2nd opinions if you are worried. I am hopeful that after 3 years of challenging treatments with Prostate cancer, that I may be cured, but they cant say that...yet. All the sparky debates on here keep my spirits up! Would I drive 300 miles return trip up to Ipswich? Not yet!

Sometimes pride, fear and fatigue get in the way of check ups and treatment or simply waiting for the next appointment - and there's nothing to be ashamed of in that - that's why I was saying don't wait for the next check up or results on this.

48 goals in total, but the killer stat is that our top 4 goal scorers (42 goals) have all departed.

There were no surprises with the strikers - I was only disappointed to see McGoldrick go, we absolute robbed Derby blind for Waghorn. Celina was never our player.
True, we lost a loanee, an out-of-contract, injury prone player, a player valued way above his worth, and an ageing striker who wanted to move up north and who we made double our money on. Arguably we sold too many strikers too soon, but if the likes of Ellis Harrison and Kayden Jackson were scoring, then we wouldn't be looking back on this with so much regret. Unfortunately, our attacking signings have been nowhere near good enough. We are now in the position of only having two recognised, senior strikers fit and available; one has scored only one league goal all season and the other scored twice in 37 appearances last season.
I actually felt sorry for Jackson last night,he ran his socks off but was feeding off scraps.
What has disappointed me most about Hurst has been his failure to address what we've all been bemoaning for years- the lack of any creative spark in midfield and link up play between the midfield and forward(s).Hopefully Dozzell can work his way back to full match fitness and start some games.(Knowing our luck he'll now get crocked again!)

Yeah I don’t think we can blame or judge Harrison or Jackson. Who would envy them the way we have been playing?
Bruce is a talented manager, very very close to the Premier League last season and had plenty of resources and talented players.
Just goes to show you that we can criticise as much as we like but this is probably the toughest league in the world to compete in.
