we missed them. we were near barrow haven when they flew over us circled and then we lost sight.
id taken my flashy camcorder to record it for posterity but instead had to be content with the somewhat dismal flotilla only to realise i'd removed the sd card to shove in summat else so = no recording. ill have to remember to be more prepared for the next platinum jubilee

Reminds me of the horns being blown in South Africa for the World Cup, I stopped watching every game but England because of the racket, you know Acun is going to give out similar at City don’t you? Might have to start wearing noise cancelling AirPods during the game.

i first witnessed it during the 74 world cup as a teen. horrible racket.
