Brilliant night there tonight
Warm weather helps but it was seriously good. Just a warm up for tomorrow so if anything there were too many food options, too short queues and bars that were too easy to get served quickly at!!!

Big top/Spiders from Mars stage was superb. Kicked off with a slightly shorter version of Turn To Face The Strange...amazing again.
Black Delta Movement really good. New rhythm section, with a female bassist.
The Talks were excellent (I think they said it was their last gig?)
Paddingtons were good too

Strummerville Stage was great when you were there, and had a great backdrop of still working shipping, but was a bit tucked away
Silent Disco was miles bigger than usual
Speakeasy Stage was nicely set up and popular
Main Stage was good in a new spot, and Counting Coins sounded great, but I think it was easily bypassed so the big top stage was really the Main stage.
Skate Park wasn’t on, but is in a great spot

Atom’s Sesh(ion) Pale Ale...Excellent

Doing it all again tomorrow...but for longer!

Hope you enjoy it.

I’d say the day is very family friendly and feels chilled out during the day, then it shifts a little in the evening and gets a bit more ‘grown up’ as people get more pissed. So depends what you’re after

The bit on the West side of the Marina hasn’t been done before and I thought it was really good. It should spread everyone out as last year got ridiculous when Humber St was completely jammed and you couldn’t even shove you’re way through.

Plenty of food options on that side too, all the way down to the big top. (Greek, Indian, wood fired pizzas, which I had, Hull Pie, Kerb Edue burgers etc etc)

There’s bits for everyone so if you’ve got something you really want to see then plan ahead, if not just wander and stop at what you like the sound of

Been going since year one. Had some good times and great memories.

The early years provided an excellent backdrop to an all day piss up with mates.

The past couple of years have been a bit more civilised with the missus and kids.

There's something for everyone basically.

Not what i've being hearing..sounds as bad as ever, i shall be taking some of my own in !
I shall be going tonight but personally thought the early years of Sesh were better when it was just adults interested in seeing live bands, now it is a glorified piss up for all the plebs, a bit like what Freedom's Fest as turned into.

Most of the headlining local bands have been around for a while now, Talks, Counting Coins, BDM etc who are the hottest new bands to check out?

Getting served was a piece of piss last night, particularly in the bar in the big top (but Sssh ...don’t tell everyone!)
It will be busier today though as there was 7000 there in half of it yesterday and 25000 people there in all of it today
