To go into a little more depth, at the time of the incident it was believed 2 people on the coach had been rushed to hospital with serious injuries, and as such was no laughing matter. One or two LFC fans were having a bit of a giggle, which was what promoted me to make the post.

The point behind it was 'is it funny if I joke about your misfortune' and certainly not hoping that people lose their lives.

 

Magic it was. In response to my first comment he basically said that's a bit harsh, to which I replied "it wasn't me, it was the Chelsea fans". He replied "The bastards ". If that's not laughing it off I don't know what is.

That was also my last contribution to the topic so your accusation that I "carried on being a tit" is completely wrong and unfounded.

The one or two concerned made it quite clear they deplored the incident. Had one of our lot said "pity they didn't kill them" then your comment and excuses would hold a tad more water but as one of them was a joke about Suarez's teeth and the other (Magics) quantified with this statement;

"Joking aside - no excuse for this sort of behaviour but surely you can't tar every scouser with the same brush? Every set of fans have a minority. Were you lot happy with the "Assem Allen will die before us" chants? Of course not. And you rightly condemn it.
Find the idiots, lock them up and put better procedures in place to stop this happening in the future. But no point in the needless hate to an entire group of people."

Hardly comments requiring your input re "needing another Hillsborough" eh. The fact that you're apologising on one hand and yet still trying to justify it says all we need to know.

As for not carrying on being a tit well I'm pretty sure the Heysel comments were meant to get another reaction eh.....no wonder your own board members don't like you either. Takes some doing that btw

 

I responded in that manner due to not wanting to start arguments on the Hull board. I let that one slide, but on a different thread conversation swiftly turned to Heysel, can't remember if you (Mr.Hat) were involved in that, but I did PM your mods asking to watch over it which subsequently got the thread locked.

Poor taste is an understatement, whether it be Hillsborough, Heysel, Munich, whatever, there's a certain line normal people don't cross when making 'jokes', as a rule, if you wouldn't say it to some ones face due to how offensive it is, don't say it all. Takes a person wired different to even contemplate making the joke let alone post it.

As for the Liverpool fans laughing the bus incident off? Not a chance, we pointed out that people can't tar scousers all with the same brush and also admitted the people involved in the incidents were idiots. The Chelsea jokes were due to one of your lot saying we'd blame it on Chelsea.
