Hull watch

Now that Sunderland have been relegated it will be huge weight off their shoulders. They will be able to play with freedom and without fear and as a result they will beat Hull next week. But then the novelty will wear off after a week and by the time they play us the week after, they will be back to normal and we will beat them.

(Wishful thinking?)

No, fact <laugh>

Hull know they need to win to keep their hopes alive after taking the Sunderland game far too lightly as they took it as read that the 3 points were in the bag.....This is something we must learn from ourselves because everyone at the bottom can beat each other if you are complacent. Hull have the abillity to win both their remaining games on the day so we will have to be aware of that for our own remaining games and play like it is our cup final. nothing is finalized yet but through Hull's complacency we find unexpectedly in the driving seat and if we can stay infront we will stay up....

We're a relegation candidate, just as yourselves, we're not quite up to the Premier standard.

We try to survive, like yourselves.

But "complacency"?

We should have had 2 clear penalties in that Sunlan game and the Defoe goal was half a yard offski.

We now hold a Premier league record for penalties against in one season. Nine of them were never penalties.

We're easily the best side in the bottom six.

No hard feelings whatever happens and good luck <peacedove>

If you take away the contentious penalty decisions in both of our last two games then we'd still be above you in the table. And to say you're the best team in the bottom six is quite frankly laughable.

It's gonna be a good scrap to avoid relegation and let the best team win

"Let the best team win". As we've already beaten you twice this season, I concur <ok>

Difficult to make that claim with your away record.

I share Swantastic's feelings I would rather you stay up than Allerdyce but it doesn't look as though the dice are going to roll that way.

We've done better against the other teams - so it could equally be argued that over the season, against the teams in the PL, we are better & more competitive than you.<cheers>
You've done a tiny bit better than us against other teams.

Mate, we beat you three times this season <cheers>

After 36 games you are 7pts worse than us against the other teams, hardly a ".... tiny bit better......"

It's a League not a head-to-head between you and us - We've beaten Palace twice, doesn't necessarily make us a better team than them. <cheers>
