We let Fryatt go and gave them Hobbs and Waghorn on loan and in the end let them sign Hobbs

Hobbs was playing, we all thought he was crap though.

Fryatt wanted to play for Pearson but he was still playing for us.

    Waggy was for emergency loan.

I think Nigel likes to have a balance whereby he has one 'flair' winger and another more defensive, hard working winger who can generally come inside when required. For example, last time he was here, the wingers were Matt Oakley and Lloyd Dyer and at Hull, please correct me if I'm wrong Hull fans, it was something like Stewart and Evans.

Now, with us, we only really have two players who you'd say would fit into our formation primarily as wingers so his hand has been forced in a way. I hope we can sign someone like a Kebe or maybe even nick Stewart off Hull because Imthink it's the one position in which Sven failed to add and I think we need a consistent, Championship winger because both Dyer and Gallagher - although formidable on their day - aren't renouned for their consistency.

Nigel loves Dyer but didnt really have the time of the day for Max Gradel and only used Dany N'Guessan spareingly

I really think you're underestimating our squad.

I think Southampton will definitely go up automatically now. They're almost halfway there already! Very rare a team gets this fair and fails.

I think we blew it with our bad start (for the second year running). Play-offs for us I think, but in fairness, I don't see any teams outside the top two to fear. Maybe Birmingham may be a tough proposition when they're finally out of Europe, but my early guess is that we will be the bookies favourites to win the play-offs come May.

Think the difference was that Dyer is prepared to do the defensive work whereas the other two aren't really. It's something that Nigel requires in all his players. Still a shame we sold Gradel though because we could really do with him now.

To sign cam stewart, firstly noone barring 2 boards know whether any restrictions were placed on NP coming back to the KC to sign players, therefore he may unable to get any of our players in the january window. Secondly to sign a player the selling club's board must be willing to do a deal, I don't what head honcho at Leicester is like, but Papa Allam at Hull is unlikely to allow any player to leave for Leicester - he is a tough cookie old Papa

:( What are Leeds fans doing wrong to be less hateable than bloody innocuous friendly family club Leicester?

Would that be the Paul McShane who hasn't made a single appearance for us this season?

If you expect us to play our reserves, then I think you'll be disappointed, there's only Hobbs that will start on Saturday. You remember Hobbs, your 2009–10 club player of the year and players' player of the year, that you now all claim is ****e. :emoticon-0112-wonde

Jack Hobbs was never ****e. It was his style of defending which i think most LCFC fans thought was limited especially if our desire to make the EPL were ever realsied. He is far to agricultural - but for the CCC and lower leagues that no nonsense football can be effective.

Take such football characterisitcs to quality teams or in the EPL then you will become unstuck.

Fond of Hobbs and his commitment - but his ability is capped

I wouldn't argue with that, he's very committed but he is slow and lacks finesse.

Might I remind some of our more bullish fans that the Gods of football do have a habit of biting one on the arse ... and form can often be irrelevant in games where there is more than the usual amount of needle due a 'slur' whether real or imagined. Take our ealy season home games against Reading and Bristol City; clubs whose fans bombarded our board with vitriol following the attempted and actual signings of Maynard and Mills.. both came to our place and did a number on us ...

Both hull City players and fans will be well up for this one and we'll need to be well up for it and at the top of our game to get a positive result - which of course I hope we do.

There's a car park next door to the stadium(Walton Street) but it's a pig to get out of after the game.

There's a park and ride which you'll pass on your way into the city, they run fleets of buses to and from the stadium and it can be quicker than parking in Walton Street.

If you fancy a pint before the game, then go to Princess Ave, there's lots of bars down there, there's no problem with away fans and you can park on the street and walk to the game(it's only about ten minutes away).

Alternatively, the stadium is only about a 15 minute walk from the city centre, so you can park in any of the city centre car parks and walk(though is your car displays any signs that you're from Leicester and we've lost the game, then it might well be on fire when you get back). <ok>

Many thanks for the info - i was thinking that perhaps their was a smarter proposition than the official matchday car park.

All i hope is that we game worth traveling for! Got a feeling there may well be a lot of passion at this affair - should be a cracker!
