Of course it bothers me that you say the team I support are dull to watch, when we clearly aren't... Actually, second thoughts, I don't really care about your opinion, so it's all good
You do now. last week foxtalk had several threads wanting Pearson out, admittedly I don't recall being boring offered as a reason.
A draw was a fair result and it was a decent game in the first half, the second was fairly poor, largely due to the weather. That frog was your best player, but what a ponce, he spent half the game rolling around on the floor, or trying to run off the worst imaginary limp I've ever seen. Has he ever played for the French Women's team?
Is there some Pearson stalking going on with you? Looking on a Leicester only forum for things about him?
I'd say it's either stressful or exciting, rather than boring. We create a lot of chances but don't score many goals- it's very annoying but I certainly don't get bored!
Frankly I'm shocked that someone would use such a crass derogatory term for one of our near neighbours - In my opinion this sort of behaviour drags down the integrity of this forum
Someone posted a link about something else (I forget what) and others pointed out the amusing threads from the weak and feeble.
Those are the ones that local radio usually put on air after the game, sounds like you have them as well!
oh yes, I'm not convinced they're not just the same people operating on a national scale. I find that more comfortable than there being 1000's of them all over the Country.
They keep them at bbc headquarters and give them access to the phone at 5pm on Saturdays & then lock them back up with access to the Internet and the Jeremy Kyle show in a single room - padded obviously!
From a purely personal perspective, I think we are playing the most attractive football since the Bloomfield days and prior to that the Gillies era. We certainly had a lot of excitement with M O'N but not the flowing moves that we are getting this season. We did a job on Boxing Day to stop a run of defeats. Closing a game out is something we have been terribly successful with over recent seasons. Wherever we finish in the league this season, I will have had my moneys worth from my season ticket.
Nigel Pearson just sets his teams up to the strengths of his players ... Which is why he is a decent manager. I didnt think we where ' Boring ' under him. Just very hard to beat . We have also got some better players under Steve Bruce then we had under NP. IMO anyway .
Funny you say that. We've had a lot of exciting games this season and although I couldn't make it to this one, the Radio Leicester commentators suggested that this was one of the dullest games we've been involved in this season. So perhaps Pearson just gave your fans what they were used to when he managed you, the same as Bruce is giving you now. You do have the title of Dull City to live up to after all!
