Obviously someone who didn't go to the game Draw was a fair result, both sides had plenty of possession and both keepers made a few good saves, personally I wouldn't be surprised if this was the play off final!
So which clear cut chances didn't YOU hear on the radio? We had FAR better chances, I was in the ground to witness them first hand .
You had the two Simpson chances. First being when he rounded Kasper the second when he had that late header. You got lucky when Faye's wild swing went inches wide and also your keeper made a lot of smart saves. Your fans were unanimous in naming your keeper MOTM on your local radio station and most praised us and some even said we edged it and i'll agree. I think it was a game where neither side could have any complaints if the other won it, but a draw was fair in the end.
Yes please. It's been 4 games and over a year since Pearson left you and there should be no reason for animosity.
Think if you look at the quality of the Forest/Leeds game on telly at dinner and the quality of our game this afternoon its fair to say we look like 2 far better sides and can see why we are 2 of the 3 or 4 best sides in the league. Very entertaining game today in some sh.t conditions second half, 0-0 didn't really do the game justice and think 99% of us coming away from the game will say the draw was a very fair result.
Now we have dont play each other again in the regular season hopefully things will calm down, we dont mind you lot coming on here but you (not you personally) need to be respectful of our board. Funny, nobody on the radio said 'You edged it', most acknowledged you were a good side. The keeper was given MOM because it's only his second game for us, which was a concern after losing Stockdale back to Fulham. He didn't really have much of note to save. Unfortunately Pearson came with his usual anti football approach with 5 across the middle. I guess we should view that as a compliment as he feared our superiority, seen it before with Pearson. You view a draw as a decent return, I see the fact we didn't score from the two Simpson chances as 2 points dropped. Good luck for the rest of the season.
I listened to your local radio station and some fans said we edged it. What's to argue? You had your anti football of 5 at the back?!? We see it as two points dropped to due to the chances we had. Both fans will feel that way so a draw is probably a fair result. I wouldn't say the last gasp header was a real guilt edged chance either.
BOTH TEAMS ARE GOING UP either both automatic or one automatic and one via the play offs. Seriously think we will BOTH get better as the season goes on . Both will buy . Both have good managers .. Both have decent players ... simple as that...
