Confirmed I am still hugely into football. I genuinel don't think we should be playing this season out, but I wore out the F5 button during that injury time period. and I'm euphoric now. This is what saturdays are about- Just a shame it's a saturday in june. Seb Lewis, I hope you saw that one - win for you!!
Well done Lee Bowyer. Had the team well organised and that was enough to see out a 0-1 win against the worst team in the league. Poor Hull are sinking fast and the rats have all deserted already. Our 2nd away win of the season - Play-offs here we come! And our new owner (whoever he is) is our most successful of all time. 100% win rate, no goals conceded. I'm sure 20,000+ fans would flock to the Valley next Saturday if they were allowed to.
All about the result today, hopefully we can build upon it. Both sides had chances, we took advantage of their mistake. The icing on the cake would have been a goal for Bonne. Fingers crossed that QPR won’t be too fussed next week.
Agree totally. I cannot get excited about football , money before lives etc. However, thank f*** we won but there is a long way to go and we must not lose sight of the fact that the nonsense off the pitch is more important. "Lee, Lee, Lee Bowyer". I Charlton.
I heard the Club is charging Charlton fans £90 to watch the remaining games this season on their computers. Is that right? New owner, same old bull***t. ESI are a fecking disgrace. The least our long suffering fans deserve is to be able to watch the team for free.
Was impressed with quite a few performances today, best I’ve seen of Hemed. Morgan was decent, both centre backs and Matthews. Hull were absolute tripe. Great work Bowyer
Must say I'm not impressed. The bar was set very low today. Hull City are disintegrating, and are certain to be relegated - probably bottom of the league. Had Charlton not won it would have been a major embarassment, even by our recent standards. Credit to the team for doing what LB drilled them to do. But beyond the capture of 3 important points and a boost for morale after the Arsenal friendly drubbing, nothing has been achieved. Let's see these players get something off Millwall in a couple of weeks. Then I might ease up a bit.
