As i said i agree with you we dont need a bigger stadium etc and its been gutting realising just how small time we are. Best wishes with your health problems.
Some things are more important than football and petty squabbles. I sincerely wish you all the best with your health and have a great Christmas.
Missed 2 games home or away this season, Sunderland, Leicester & Everton will be 3, 4 & 5 but having just had back surgery I'm stuck on my back for the next 3 weeks minimum so may miss a few more
Giood luck with the lift Junky, if you make it I'll see you for that pint in the Colliery ......... I'll be good looking (ahem) mature chap in the Black n Amber retro shirt.
''Under the clock'', that brings back memories Benjamin .......... back in the day we (the Royal we) used to arrange to meet young ladies ''under the clock'' at Paragon Station, before sashaying off to ABC, Tiffs, Baileys or similar establishments. I met my first wife under the clock .............. but that's another story. No flowers Boxing Day I'm afraid, I might get him a half though.
All the best Castro. Really hope things improve for you soon. It's the first season since 2007 I have been able to go to away games ...really loving it....even if we play crap and get thrashed . Though of course I want us to win. My advice to anyone would be IF you have the money and you have nothing else planned go to every game you can.......because you never know what the future will bring All the best everyone .
As others have said your health is the No1 priority so take care! Trust you have a great festive season and your health improves in 2015. I had planned to come over to see the Sunderland match but my wife's health problem(hip replacement op) has grounded me here so it will be a TV watch.
I had a choice, either be on a coach on the way to Sunderland or on a plane on the way to New York. Safe to say I won't be at the game.
Million and one reasons we ain't sold our allocation mate. Our league position and the ****e that we are currently watching won't help, although few will admit that for obvious reasons. One of my favourite grounds your gaff, bastard of job getting to it mind. Expecting f' kcall tomorrow but will be coming up early morning dressed in pyjamas so we fit right in with locals. Baa humbug..
I hope all the lads and lasses coming to the game from Hull have a cracking day, right up until kick off anyway...Looks like there will be around 45,000 attending the game which is slightly above our average for this season..
Serious question: why do you think its higher than average? It can't be the draw of the mighty Tigers pulling them in.
20,000 empty seats ? are you talking about the Boro hehe. We have averaged 41,000 this season with what we have to put up with, and I can't stand sitting !
If transport is the only thing stopping you from going, and expense isn't a problem, there's plenty of Muslim taxi drivers about who will be working normally like any other day.
Boxing day is always a good seller, we beat the mags last game and our average is up this season. I'll guess 44,300, providing your unsold tickets count to the attendance. Not sure how that works.
The truth is that most can't be arsed whilst this Murdoch hyped international diving competition prevails. I personally can't wait till we get back to real football in the best league in the world. Carter, Stokoe, et al would turn in their graves!
