I would have thought you would have been busy worrying about your own team mate! 4 nil to MKD FFS

Its got absolutely nothing to do with UEFA. They award us X amount of Europa League slots each season and the Premier League decide how these are distributed.

When our youth/fringe/inbetweeners players start making me worry about the future of my club then I'll let you know pal. <ok>

You just can't have a Hull thread without Bruce and his birds.....it's a classic.

You have only 2 trophies that you have a realistic chance of winning this year and your top manager took a risk. Bit foolhardy from where i'm sat mate.

You won't find any Hull City fans with an ounce of common sense that thought we had a prayer of signing Wellbeck.

    His name is Assem Allam.

Personally, I'm disappointed that we didn't play our first team in the Europa League, but there's no money in it and as a consequence, our owner only really cares about remaining in the Premier League.

Still, at least we didn't get a lesson in football from MK ****ing Dons. <laugh>

I thought it was fed down from UEFA as not many countries have a secondary cup competition.

Nup, it was the Premier League / FA's decision to let the runners-up have the Europa spot if the cup winners were in the UCL. They could have easily - and let's face it more fairly - given it to the next highest league placed team.

Yeah, league is more deserving for sure.

Some teams have had a walkover to the semi's or final, especially in the League Cup.

Sheffield United in the semi final? Pah...

Well that's two more than I had us down for, so I'm ecstatic with that news. <cheers>

Really, the same joke as your pal tried? Are you that void of a sense of humour that you couldn't come up with anything better than that?

Seriously, after years and years of not giving a **** about that competition unless we played Liverpool, why would we all of a sudden start caring now, at a time when it becomes more insignificant than ever before as we attempt to rebuild the team from top to bottom?

I'd be reeling if my club had never been in Europe and was likely never to get there again (by merit of winning anything or finishing in the top 5) and they squandered it all against some Belgian minnow.

I wouldn't sit at a table with that human sleeping pill mate, I'm surprised he manages to finish what he's writing without falling into a coma.

To be fair mate, I don't think anything Hull have can really shoot down United. Regardless of current affairs.

Mate, I could easily orchestrate an argument between me and you here, whereby I know fine well you would come up with something intelligent and we'd be back and forth getting one over on each other.

The issue isn't the club they support, it's their personalities.

I only thought it was funny due to the Danny Welbeck thing, I'd prefer them in Europe if I'm honest, Thursday nights are pretty crap for real comedy on the tele.

I don't think myself or Terry played any part in the success of our respective clubs and are therefore in no position to take any credit for it.

If all I wanted was success, I could just pick a random successful team to support.

As many did with Man United.

    Before Man City took over.

    Haha,

If only life were that simple fella, we all know that as a fan you get the credit, sadly for us both, we also take the flak.

There's been a lot of flak round here...
