Don't make me choose. Oh, all right then. Sunderland. Let's win the FA cup, but let's somehow wriggle out of the Europa League.
What's Poch going to do if we qualify for the Europa League..? I thought he said he doesn't like it.!?!
Who really needs a trip to Krasnodar in November (it's in Russia, I had to google it)? Don't think Michael Laudrup was too thrilled. I'll still die happy if we win the FA Cup though. I love the competition.
Progression in the cup is more important, but that doesn't require a win at Sunderland. I would happily vote for a Hull win, if I'm allowed a draw against Sunderland.
Don't particularly want to be playing in Europa next year, but the FA Cup is the FA Cup, and this season has been the perfect storm of upsets and difficult draws for the biggest sides...beat Sunderland and get a favourable draw (say, the winner of Sheffield United/Forest or Wednesday/Charlton) and it's off to Wembley. Hard not to want that.
You will win at both now. You can make Wembley for a semi at least subject to a good draw. Good Luck.
