Lol. Yeah, my Uncles went to Bethune, but I think you're more ages with me than them. I started Hunsley in 87 I'm sure. Twin brothers that were from North Cave I'm sure and were in my year were Scott and Ian Lomax. My cousin was probably in your year (Claire Scaiffe) and my next door neighbour (Sally Jack) possibly.

Houghton & Glaholms paper and sweet shop on Chants Ave. Always went in there coming home from school for 1/4 of broken sweet cigarettes.
What was the toy shop on the corner of King Edward and Story St called? I remember it having a downstairs.
Bright Lights by Quel Dommage! That's a blast from the past. I was mates with the keyboard player and went to a lot of their gigs. Still find myself humming one of their tunes from time to time. Usually when I'm firefighting some employee based incompetent cock-up, that I suspect has been done with malice aforethought. Instigator, Instigator. I'm looking for an easy way out and I'm losing my mind. In fact, I'm humming it right now.
If I recall correctly the computer shop was called 'Tomorrows World' - got my ZX Spectrum from there. The 16K version not the posh 48K version lol!
Kids don't know what their missing. It's all downloads. You can't download that new tune you like on picture disc
