The independent Cash and Carries. Willis Cash and Carry in Hessle. Mum and Dad had a shop, so these were regular places we'd visit. Sitting on a barrow aged about 6 or 7 whilst Dad pulled it around getting provisions.
I know Dave had a brother so must have been him. Really nice lad was Dave, we also played football for the same team for a while.

I mayb Be wrong too :/ Trying to remember the clothes shop under city Hall on Carr lane side (middling) in the early 90s nice bloke who ran it ... I know name if I heard it. There was also Scally shop nr Lazers/Beiritz - however u spell it - sold expensive ****e garments made in Manchester
I agree with Drury's on Endike but I used to love browsing in Robinsons on Jameson St. at all the diy gear and tools.
How old are you if you don't mind me asking? 3 of my Uncles went to Kingston, you'll more than likely know them. I remember spending a lot of time playing in the "tenfoots" around there. Lots of memories.

I went to Pickering Primary and then Bethune. Left in '85 as my Mum and Dad didn't want me to go to Kingston . Moved back to North Cave so I could go to Hunsley.
