I am barely ranked 1/2 a star right now. I am getting pared with Mexican teams, really bad mls teams, and league 2 english teams. I still am losing by 3 or 4 goals a game.

Been having quite a few problems with the server trying to get games on seasons mode last few days- I know it's not my connection as have got fibre-optic internet. Hope they sort it out as prefer online to career mode, even though career mode is pretty good fun.

I think I might buy this game tonight. My controller still works after being flung across the room whilst playing on 12 a few months back. Good news!
Career mode is ****e you just play the same game over and over and over and over and over again against different colours. The one dimensional computer does the same predictable attacks all game every game.

Nice! I forgot all about that game! Probably one of my first real entries into the world of football games. Although I still remember the days on peles soccer on the Atari 2600 praying for more than 4 aside lol I have just started playing the career mode on 13 but like Bob said, its the same game over and over and over again. Might have to look into the online league thingy!
Sega had a really nice football game as well but I can not remember what it was called. I do like how all your xp on the online league goes towards your favorite club and then the club moves up and down the table based off the amont of xp it got and everyone else got. Right now we are in league one unfortunately.
I don't actually mind the games being similar on career mode, but it's the seasons game which rocks as every match is different with different random opponents. Been up against all sorts this week, Germans, Mexicans, Americans, even Fc Seoul at one point. We seem to get paired with the most random teams possible. When I play as Man U or a Prem team its actually less interesting as you end up with the usual Real or Barca games which can get tedious
4-a-side? You must have had a newer version of the game than I did. I remember playing the 3-a-side game, no actual player to merchandise it and just called football. Pitch going left to right, one player stuck at the top, one at the bottom, and the other in the middle.
I hate playing unreal Madrid and barca, every ****er uses them and as if ronaldo didn't stand out enough as by far the best player on previous games, he's unstoppable now, he can do everything.
Don't know, Keytiger said there was an Atari 2600 game with Pele being used. The Sega Master System and the NES (not the SNES, that was later) came out in Europe in the mid-late 80s, so for a player to be on the Atari it must have been before that.
I won the cup earlier on Seasons with City. First round, I was down 2-0 vs Leeds (someone called "Leedsboy" or something), and pulled a goal back with Elmo around 70 minutes. Then Aluko equalised on 86 minutes - I was very happy to be taking it to extra time - but then I broke away with Aluko in injury time to win the game. Got a message with a few choice words afterwards Second round I happened to play Leeds again, dominated him and he quit when I went 3 up.
