What we don't have is a competent midfield. Oh, and strikers due to injury

He's a left back, Elmo, McShane and Chester are never going to play left back, Rosie and Robertson are out injured, Dudgeon will never play for us again and Bruce has so much faith in Brady in that position, that he's playing Figgy ahead of him.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if we brought in another left back, I expect Figgy and Dudgeon will be gone in the summer and Robertson and whoever we bring in will be the two left backs.

We have absolutely no idea where we're shopping, we haven't actually bid for anyone yet.

Ok pal,I'll let you into a little secret. Nice cars painted Matt black are not exclusive to footballers. Anyone with a car that's taxed, tested (if required) and insured is allowed to drive along anlaby road.just thought it a bit tenuous, that's all, don't take it personal.

Graham Dorrans anyone? Its sad to say but we miss a Koren type. I think Snodgrass was the man, but hes injured, Ramirez could fill that position.

The biggest worry bar the striking situation is, we miss players to run at defenders, despite signing the likes of Ince and Ben Arfa.

I did say full back, as we have been linked with every full back that exists, hence my point about having enough full backs. Elmo, McShane and Chester have and can play at right back. Why won't Dudgeon play for us again? Also, just because our full backs are injured, you think we need to sign more? Why sign more players when we have enough to cope with the injuries we have?

Regarding Brady, what is going on? He must of had a fall out with Bruce, the kid marked ****ing Sterling out of the game against Liverpool, he was more than capable of coping with Chris Brunt against West Brom. <doh>

Everytime Brady does something wrong, ie passing the ball inside, or losing the ball Bruce goes crazy, he is a very frustrating player. Although no idea why he isn't used at left back, hes strong good in the air and can tackle. I alway fancied Brady at left back with Robertson infront of him.

Ramirez has filled that position, we don't need anyone else, as you say Snodgrass when fit will probably fill that position from next season, Ramirez is just a stop gap.

Ince has shown glimpses of running at players, but still needs to show some quality in the final third. Elmo, Brady, Ince, even Robertson when fit runs at defenders, that isn't an issue.

Dudgeon will never play for us again because hes crocked and nowhere near premier league standard. Struggled at Barnsley!

That would be a shame, he'd be one of my favs, a 26 year old 6'4" who can actually make and score goals. There's not many of them out there.

He was playing well up until he got an injury, and then when he came back from injury his place was taken by someone playing well, it happens to most players. My point is, in January, I doubt we will sign another left back as we have adequate cover.

They have the ability but why don't they do it. Palace are no role models, but the likes of Puncheon and Gayle are no better that what we have, but they harry and chase and run at full backs/ centre halfs. A bit like Hernandez did against Everton, it frightens the life out of defenders. Elmo does it the most but when he stops passes it inside its pointless. He should be told just to run at the full back till he hits the byline and cross it. I know it isn't as simple as that but hes most effective when he does this. When he crosses from deep it barely reaches the 18 yard box at times. Aluko is the most annoying mind, since when did he decide he was creative midfielder and a inept one at that.

Since when did Snodgrass ever become a Koren type? He's a fooking right winger, nothing more, nothing less.

Ramirez is a typical 'number 10' type, obviously he's not ours but he's starting to look better and better and hopefully we can cut a deal at the end of his loan. Assuming we pull off a miracle and stay up of course.

Really all we need is a goalkeeper and striker with the quality to push Jelavic and Hernandez for their spots or step in capably when they're not available. We have a big squad with quality throughout, we're injury ravaged at the moment as is typical with any team managed by Steve Bruce, but we don't need to go out buying new players just to cover these injured players for the relatively short time they're out, else once they're back from injury they won't even have space to be registered in the squad!

Bruce must be thinking of playing Elmo in a more forward role and bringing in a natural RB. we don't have any available, only Mcshane, but we have nobody else who can play on the wing back in the 3-5-2...this is my only logic

Er, have we been linked with a single RB? It's mainly LBs and forwards, surely?

Huzzah, somebody else who understands the long term effects of transfers. We're all crying out for creative midfielders, but what'll happen when Snodgrass comes back? We only get 25 spaces in the PL and it's not like our youth are good enough to be in the first team, so there's little point in registering many of them as U21s (although I think we do anyway).

If Sagbo wants to leave, let him, provided we've got somebody to bring in instead. Heaven forbid, we might have to change our tactics to suit the players available, instead of playing people out of position.

    4-2-3-1:

    -----------------Mags------------

    Elmo --Chester ---Dawson ----Figueroa

    ---------Livermore-------Thudd

    Ince ---------Ramirez---------Brady

    ------------------Sagbo ------------

Obviously if Sagbo goes, we put in a new striker that we'll have signed.

Nothing like stating the obvious. That said Brucey has said due to the fair play rules he has little to spend; unless of course its just a smokescreen and recent injuries have sent him into a rethink and he's gone 'knocking on the door' that he refers to.

I don't remember us being linked with barely any full-backs, never mind 'every full-back that exists'.

Dudgeon was given another year to prove himself and he can't get into a mediocre League One team, sadly he's finished with us.

At the moment, Bruce seems to think our own available left back is Figgy(I've no idea why he doesn't fancy Brady there), hence the possibility that we'll bring in another one, particularly as I expect Figgy and Dudgeon to be gone in the summer. I also expect McShane to be gone this month or in the summer, with Rosie going back to covering his more natural right back position.

who knows, its been very quiet on the transfer front though! we aren't been linked with many players! we will use the loan slot but apart from that I can't see anyone else coming in!

Bruce will just try playing aluko up front all the time, and hope he becomes good in that position eventually!
