You never know, who would of thought Southampton were in for Long? I certainly didn't, until the deal was pretty much done.
Difference being Long fitted into Soton's style. Jela doesn't fit into Swansea's. Wouldn't be surprised if they made a bid for Berahino.
It looks like Berahino's on his way to Spurs. Jelavic to Swansea is no more likely than Sagbo to Man United.
Good young striker with a decent goal record. Will probably get him for a decent price too. On a side note, he's ace on FM.
26 in 52 for Anderlecht. His career total is about 1 goal every 2.5 games. Kramaric's record is 99 goals in 178 games. Pretty good.
Oh, fair enough. Here is Mitrovic's stats in FM14, he's down as a wonderkid too: please log in to view this image Can't find Kramaric's atm.
Legia Warsaw's Ondrej Duda contacted by Tigers? Speaking to Polish sports website Gwizdek 24, the father of Legia Warsaw’s 20-year-old Slovakian international Ondrej Duda has stated City are one of a number of clubs interested in signing his son. The midfielder has been the subject of interest from Arsenal and Tottenham in the past and has a reported price tag of around £6m, although Duda Snr, who also acts as the player’s agent, insists his client wouldn’t be available until the summer window, making him a viable target for Steve Bruce. Speaking to the Polish website, Duda’s father said: “My son has so many offers I do not even know. The representatives of AC Milan, Inter, Napoli, Hannover, FC Koln, Arsenal, Tottenham, Everton, Hull City, Stoke and even a couple of other teams they have contacted me. But everyone, I repeat, that if he leaves the Legia, it will be at the earliest summer.” It would seem that the Tigers face some stiff competition for the Slovakian’s signature and emerging with Duda’s signature from that list would be something of a coup for City. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...tory-25825370-detail/story.html#ixzz3OEFKAjMi
But with what they made in the off season on selling their players they had plenty of cash in the wallet
nearly a 3rd of the window has passed, no one yet, shocking state of affairs will be left with the scrag ends, Bruce needs to act fast to offload the racist sagbo and get £6m for Davies (we have Maguire anyway), to buy Defoe and loan a winger
Swansea need to keep Gomis happy by playing him more. Bony leaving allows that to happen. Fingers crossed that Ivory Coast go all the way in the AFNC as both Bony and Yaya will miss our game on sat feb 7th.
Danny Graham fitted into their style, and yet couldn't hit a barn door for us, Jelavic would be more suited to their style than Graham was, surely?
Graham fitted into our system, but could not finish any chances that were put on a plate to him. Whether that be confidence or style I do not know. But I'm sure if you stuck Jelavic in Swansea's team, then he'd score 15 goals a season. Which leads to my original point, Swansea are looking for a striker and Jelavic would do a job for them, and would cost less than Mitrovic or whoever else.
Not at all, I'm just saying, Jelavic would be a decent signing for them. I'm sure if we accepted a bid (and hopefully we would have a like-for-like replacement ready to sign this time, instead of panic buying/leaving it until last minute like we did with Hernandez), he'd soon be off. It's pure speculation, but for all we know they could be after Balotelli. (Highly unlikely)
