Will be disappointed if we don't take 6 points from the next 2 games, points we drop are points promotion chasers take, we can't be doing that. Think we should win both quite comfortably IMO.
As OLM said Bruce has tweeted he's fine and is available. I'm not sure what changes Bruce will be forced to make, as Sylvane Ebanks Blake brings a lot of strength to the Wolverhampton front line, I'd like to see Abdoulaye Faye return to the start XI to counter that. He also brings more threat from set pieces. Still waiting to hear whether Elmo and Rosenior are fit, i'd expect them both to be ok.
I think you're underestimating Cardiff quite a bit. I know we had a nice trip last season, but I think it will be a much harder trip this time round. They bought well over the summer and they're sitting at the top of the championship for a reason. I'm not saying we can't beat them, but I'd be happy with a draw.
I'd be satisfied with a draw at Cardiff too but happy with a win. Disappointed with a loss. Think you're underestimating us a bit there, we bought well over the summer and we'd be sitting top now with a little more luck.
But we're not top they are, so they are clear favourites as they also have home advantage. A draw would be a tremendous result but we have to win tonight
A draw would be an ok result, a win would be a good result. A right royal spanking would be a tremendous result.
How come nobody's mentioned the fact that Robbie Brady is now also in contention for the left hand slot if Rosie doesn't make it. I know there's another thread on RB but this is the City v Wolves thread and therefore relevant.
I agree. And if Elmo's out and Rosie fit, Rosie as RWB. If Elmo's fit, Rosie on bench (if not injured).
Amos Chester Faye McShane Elmo Evans Koren Quinn Brady Proschwitz Aluko This is what I'd like to see, not necessarily what SB will pick
I will predict a draw tonight, 1-1. A repeat of the result in the 1919/20 season would be good. We beat them 10-3 at home that season.
Their fans don't seem too optimistic over on Molineux Mix, but I think they'll do us tonight. Once again we're facing a team in poor form, which doesn't bode well. Ipswich ran us close after being **** for months, and Blackpool and *****borough both got wins at the KC in the middle of bad runs. Hull City 0-2 Wolverhampton Wanderers PS. I'd also like to register my disgust at the **** on the aforementioned Wolves forum who said that he thought we'd win because, "we'd bully them, and that they'd do better on Saturday when they play a footballing side (Brighton)" Why is it that no matter where we are in the league, and no matter how good the football we play is, opposition fans always assume one or more of the following: A) That we're a team of thugs? B) That we play hoofball? C) That we'll be a walkover? It pisses me off
Tigers win 3-1. Aluko, Koren and Simmo. I've driven back 150 miles and given up half a days pay for this. Dont let me down City.
Even more ****ing annoying that he mentioned Brighton as a footballing team. Why is it everyone's got a massive erection for Brighton these days? I know they aren't a long ball side or anything, but they haven't looked any better than the other average-to-decent sides in this league whenever I've seen them and despite what the neutral media seem to think, they aren't the only half-decent footballing side out there.
I don't, as Brucie has been sticking to the "play well and you're keeping your place" promise so he won't go down well with Rosie if he drops him straight off will he?
