Watfords last 6. Watford v Cardiff Peterborough v Watford Millwall v Watford Watford v Blackburn Leicester v Watford Watford v Leeds United Our last 6. Hull v Middlesbrough Ipswich v Hull Wolves v Hull Hull v Bristol City Barnsley v Hull Hull v Cardiff Theirs are far from easy.
You'd be hard pushed to find a more tactically inept manager than Steve Bruce ? Alex Bruce is one of the worst players you've seen in a City shirt for a long time ? I hope we don't get relegated
For what its worth I think you are among the best supporters in this division - for the most part sensible well thought out and well argued posts - a few reacted badly to the defeat - so do we often - but many others cameon our board in very generous fashion. Reading some of these posts is interesting - for instance the one talking about Watford recent form being much better - yes one point in six matches hmmmm. Howeverif Hull woul dkindly keep to their recent win one lose one for the last six games they will have 80 points meaning that if Watford DID get one more than them we would pip you on goal difference. So maybe it is not massive but could be significant. Personally I doubt that there will be more than a point between us at the end so it is too close to call. It could all hang on the last game - you at home to Cardiff and us at home to Leeds. You would be playing a better side - but almost certianly one with nothing to play for - while you could hope your Yorkshire rivals will do you a favour by trying to avenge their 6-1 home defeat by us - under new management You have to agree this has been an exciting season and if Cardiff, Hull and Watford all got promoted it would be justice done and three good sides going up
It's posts like this that make me ashamed and ****ing disgusted to be a Hull City fan. We are currently in the best position we have EVER been in at this stage of a season at this level. Alex Bruce has had a ****ing good season and has been a capable performer. Why is it we ALWAYS have to have a booboy target no matter how well we are doing? I'm ashamed to read this. I really am.
I'd rather play a team with everything to play for than one with nothing to play for. When there's nothing to play for there's no pressure to get anything or even play well, so the players tend to relax a lot and the best of them shows. When there's everything to play for the pressure can be a heavy weight on your shoulders and they're more worried about not conceding than having some fun, scoring a few goals and entertaining their fans.
Boo boy target when he's in midfield, because he's utterly hopeless there. Defence - fine, he's competent playing there, midfield, why not give Mark Oxley a go as well?
How many times do I have to say this? THAT'S NOT HIS FAULT. Boo the ****ing manager who thinks he IS good enough to play midfield. He's a defender, he should play there or not at all, but booing Alex for this and you boo the wrong Bruce.
I believe that's pretty much what I have been doing. I know it's not Alex's fault that he gets picked and where he gets told to play, but it doesn't mean I'm not going to get annoyed at how ****ing hopeless he is in that position. I do actually quite like Alex Bruce in defence, he's limited, but he plays with passion, desire and commitment, same as when he's in midfield, difference is he knows what to do in defence, he doesn't know his arse from his tit in midfield.
I'm sorry to hear that, but Bruce is appalling and part of the reason we lost last night This gets a double-laugh: one for "why not give Mark Oxley a go as well", which really made me chuckle, and one for saying Bruce is competent in midfield, which also had me laughing though for very different reasons
What about signing Malagas keeper if we go up, Willy? van persie turns chester but shoots straight at the advancing willy
You may want to read that again and have another go. Given that he's pretty much on your side, you really don't do yourself any favours by misreading his posts.
Reading many posts here you seem to take the view that Hull always do it the hard way but that's very much the Watford way too. Can easily see a win against Boro and Watford losing to Cardiff which would mean back to square one with a four point gap, What was big for Watford that we managed to avoid a loss which would have been curtains for automatic promotion. A big thumbs up for gracious manner in defeat from your fans also from Steve Bruce who didn't blame the officials, the state of the pitch or the number of Udinese loanees. Squeeky bum time Better our position than Boro, Leicester or Millwall who were flying earlier in the season.
Exactly it will be exciting, whoever doesn't go up automatic can still try in the play offs. It's not the end of the world.
