I enjoyed the Liverpool game last night and Newcastle v Barca should be fun tonight as well.

 

Yeah, but no emotional connection takes the edge off. I watched Chelsea v Bayern but in the end it was a bit one sided.

 

So we're supposed to be emotional about football.. no wonder I get funny looks sat at games with my arms folded and a blank stare into the abyss..

Seeing as most seemed to want him dropped for Jander then could be a good thing if it forces Stills hand

 

How can he possibly be sick again??

 

I'm guessing it's the result of contracting E.coli a year or two ago. It can be really nasty and tends to return again and again for years afterwards

 

I suppose this is a good time for Downes to be out, and most of us think he should be dropped for Jander anyway. But it does show how light we are in that area.

Something not quite right about Flynn for a while. He needs a full overhaul to get to the bottom of what's causing what we see as a decline in his abilities

 

I expect so, and I don't think he is really a true CM anyway.
