Hope you changed your mind on this one or at least changed the bet to 10,000 kyats.(Burmese currency). We will visit there soon and will spend at least 1 Million kyats ( about 700 quid).

I agree with you ISTPLT. The result was very disappointing and we got caught out on the break. We were on top for most of the game, fustratingly we didn't make it count. That's where my disappointment mostly lies. If we had scored before they got their first I think we'd have gone on to win as the goal would have settled us down. We need to be more savvy though and not get caught out on the break, that's ultimately where Peterborough hurt us. I think yesterday just shows what a topsy turvy league this is where anyone can beat anyone and we're no exception to that. Blackpool have lost a couple after a decent start, they're a decent side but it's another opportunity for 3 points.

Reading some of the posts on here I get the impression Peterborough played a sort of anti football game and to be honest given their form, league position & lack of talent that was the only way they were going to get a result from you.

Your next opponents play a good fluid passing game - Will that play to your strengths more? Ince is ****ing dangerous though - I also got the impression that some of your supporters felt you lacked a bit a old fashioned grit - We beat Blackpool recently and we definitely upped the physical side of our game and I think that helped

Any team can beat any team in any league when you've got ****s defending like 5 year olds being lured away with lollipops.

Anyone know what Chesters injury is ? He had a poor game yesterday, very unlike him as you all know. Could it be because he was playing with the injury then eventually had to go off ? Rosie was critisized for below par performances, late last season, but not many realised he was playing with an injury.

There was individual mistakes made by different players that lead to the goals we conceded excluding the way we just can't seem to tackle Sinclair.

Especially for the 1st and 3rd, for Sinclair's 3rd, the ball was just dead, in nobodies possession and not one of our players attempted to recover it letting Sinclair get onto it, run through and score.

Other than the goals conceded, we didn't exactly play ****, we just defended ****. It's hard to break down a team that puts 9/10 players behind the ball.

Blackpool will be really interesting because we're both very good attacking sides, we can starve them of possession like we did against Milwall and Leeds but when they get the ball they will cause us problems, and we've conceded goals against much worse attacks than theirs lately. Our best defender Chester is missing but their best attacker Ince is also out. It's impossible to call. We're probably very similar sides.

and thats being very generous to five year olds. City were piss poor at something we have been famous for the past 2 seasons. In saying that we had still enough of the play and chances to have won the game despite giving the needy 3 goals.

Even the Key Stone Kops would have defended better than that. It was so bad i did laugh at the first 2 goals. Bruce jnr & Quinn for goal one,,, Chester for goal 2,,, Bruce jnr again + 3 others for goal 3. Line up and let Sinclair score.

My mood changed a little when i saw the results from Brighton, Bolton, Huddersfield and later on Man Utd. :emoticon-0105-wink:

I may have lost £10 on city but who cares when the Spurs resulkt came in. Happy day in deed in the end. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Maybe the wrong choice of words. But winning money does ease the pain. We are still only 3 pts off top spot ffs.

Yes I know and a win tonight means everybody forgets about the defeat on Saturday. Still worries me how we are conceding goals for fun though

Well lets look @ the last 6 goals which has a few of us Sitting on the Panic Button.

    Leicester Game.(3)
    ---------------
Goal no.1. Nugent got lucky in the first place as Amos slipped and the way the chance came about.
Goal no2. Piss poor marking from the cross - hence why Faye was not at all amused after Nugent scored.
Goal no.3 Just one of those things. A break-a-way 3 on 1 break just after Prossy had a 2-2 header cleared off the line.

    Peterboro game(3)
    ---------------
All 3 goals came about from various howlers. Defending that not even school boys would be guilty of. I dont expect to see that again anytime soon. Hopefully. Fingers crossed. Lol.

As you say. Win tonight and back on track. Beating our close rivals is more important actually. Also, Blackpool have lost 1-3 and 0 - 3 in there last 2 games.
So we are both just about the same as City have 2 x 1-3 defeats.
