Well Bolton and Milwall hardly had a shot against us but scored, so I'd suggest we were a bit unlucky not to keep clean sheets there, and at Leeds it was a lucky penalty before switching off at a set piece at the end. So apart from Leicester we've hardly been easy to score against, and I think that was more down to them having a lot more of the ball than us than the defence in particular doing much wrong.
Agreed. We haven't conceded easily apart from the Leicester game, clean sheets vs Brighton and Charlton, 1 lucky goal conceded against Blackburn, 1 set piece conceded against Bolton, 1 goal conceded due to lapse of concentration against Millwall, and as you said with L**ds.
Whilst i agree its unlikely, If it were to happen then saturday would be it Especially If City perform to the Millwall standard. Peterboro look to be in a total mess at the moment. Thank you. Am just glad that i dont live in your world of gloom and doom all the time. Worth £10 that one. I would not be happy to miss out on such odds or the bet. Thanks for the info. You know I actually do believe that You belief that.
Dudgeon is 50/50, Oli is fit to start, everyone else is okay(other than the long term absentees). Fryatt trained with the team today.
There's a lot of pressure on Peterborough to get a result on Saturday. Expect them to park the bus which will be a test for our attack, but if we get an early breakthrough they could crumble. 3-1 to us with two of our goals coming late in the game.
Well IF the Posh do come and park the bus then we can play a 2 - 8 formation. Its far to early in the season to park the bus - surely.
Not if you haven't picked up a point and your away at the 5th place team that have a 100% record at home. Ferguson will be worried about his job so the bus should be firmly parked with four wheel clamps.
I dunno if there's any pressure on Posh to come to the KC and win. They'll come and play defensively and stiffle us, i assume. Any result at the KC for them would be a bonus. There's alot of pressure on us, being at home, them not doing so well and City wanting to get back to winning ways, after losing the weekend before. If we don't score quickly, or at all in the first half, the fans will get on the players backs. I hope the crowd don't do that and encourage them, especially if we have to grind the points out. 1-0 will do me. A wins a win afterall.
http://www.hullcityafc.net//news/article/olofinjana-pboro-h-preview-395335.aspx?pageView=full Still think 3-1 to City.
This is a hard one to call. It's always difficult when any team put ten men behind the ball,as i agree they will. 0-0 !
