not often im happy with a point at home, but i am today
thought it was fair, both teams missed sitters, both keepers had to make saves..
cant win every week so a win today would have just made me very nervous on saturday, hammer them and a good weeks work all round.

From where I was watching it should have been about 3-3. Hull had the best chances and were unfortunate to not score. Leicester had the better possession and penetrated very well.

Missed the Cardiff match away but I though Leicester were comfortably the best team we have played at the KC this season.

I too thought Faye had scored. How the hell did he miss!!

I thought we played quite well in patches, but its the same problems as usually. We should of been 3 or 4 before they got into the game. They had a fair amount of possesion, but didn't really look like scoring.

Am I the only one who thought Jakapovich looked dodgey as hell? He nearly throw one in his own net, flapped at crosses and just looked generally nervy, IMO we need Stockdale back or another GK ASAP.

Jakupovic desperately needs to work on his distribution as its far too slow and definitely his kicks, they're awful

He was my man of the match today (did they actually announce one?), his distribution was alright; I think his slowness was more down to player positioning than him wanting to hold onto the ball. Jackie did really well for me today, he made 3 or 4 top drawer saves to deny Leicester anything and is vocal enough that the players notice him. Happy for him to remain as number 1.

Took us a while to get into the first half, but when we did we should've made it count. Faye's header into the side netting was poor and Simmo was unlucky that the Leicester defender got back on the line to clear.

We had momentum at the end of the first half and were giving them a game, but lost it as soon as the ref blew for half time. We never regained it until the end and it was more a chess match in the second half.

They had a succession of corners in the second half, which worried us, especially those inswinging ones.

City's passing generally became very sloppy.

To sum it up, both sides were pretty wasteful- Simmo had a free header at the death that he fluffed straight to their keeper. A draw was fair.

Lino infront of East Stand was dire. He never seemed to know what decision to give, and always looked like he was waiting for the ref to make a decision before him.

    MOTM: Eldin Jakupovic.

Agree, more often than not the team was compressed leaving kicking long pointless. I thought Jakupovic was excellent today, just as he was at Derby last Friday.

To be fair to him, his distribution wasn't great today but NOONE was showing for the ball short at all, his only opition was to go long which consistently played into Leicester's hands.

Credit Pearson with that. Nugent ran his bollocks off. They compressed space and made Jako kick long. Their cb never lost a header.

If we had someone who could put the ball in the onion bag we'd have been home and hosed by h/t.
Good game, enjoyed it. Fair result. I expect both teams to make the playoffs at least.

I Thought Jakupovic was very good today. We seemed to start off closing them down, even Koren, but after15 minutes he seemed to stop the tackling for a while. I thought Whitbread was not the best player for them in the1st half, & I thought we should have tried getting at him more. Aluko played too deep today IMO, but overall a fair result.
I know it's been said about people leaving at the end, but today the thing that got me was people going 5 minutes before half time for coffee etc. Really bizarre.

I think this is spot on. There was a Leicester fan or two ejected from the ground mid way through the first half, did anyone see?

Yeah, then I think one of ours got taken out too.

RE Brucebones, I wish I'd left five minutes early, the park and ride was a joke today.

Better point for Lesta i guess, but on chances it should have been 3-3. We keep the 7 point gap between us and them. TWS next and they looked dire today @ Forest.

Yes. I also agree with todays result overall. We are due to give a team a right good stuffing soon and may that team be TWS on saturday.
