thank you stockdale. a striker has to be the priority in january, how many freaking shots do we need to score?
Yay! well a point is better than 0 it sounded very ****ing good COMMENTATORS? it isnt ****ing HUMBERSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!
We do need to add to our scoring options up front, it could just be one of them days tonight in front of goal but we need to be clinical in front of goal. Still, a good point against one of the top sides and we move on to Forest. Now waiting to see what pessimistic dribble gets posted on the club's Facebook page after tonight's result!
Well that was one of the most one sided nil nils I've ever seen, especially the first half. Blinding save by Stockers at the end, it would have been pure robbery if we'd lost that game I tells ya.
I just don't know how we didn't score tonight , Koren missed an absolute sitter We totally dominated the game until about the last ten minutes when it went end to end Zaha looked nothing special but nearly won the game for them right at the end I thought Brady was very lucky myself I thought he would see red for that
We've got the same stupid problem we've had for 2 years now, we just can't score at the crucial moment. If we scored in the first half today we'd have won 2 or 3 nil. Brucie's comments on Humberside were spot on, he's obviously aware of the problem. Palace are nothing special yet they're second, we're a better side than them but none of our great football means anything if we don't score. It'd be nice to see a striker in January but how about playing one of the three we had on the bench tonight? If you line up without a striker as we did today you can't complain when no one gets on the end of the crosses and you don't score. I think Aluko needs to get his act together, I know because he's our top scorer people are going to praise him but he's got so much more to offer than he actually does. He's got so much talent but it comes to nothing 95% of the time. What did he do today? He gets the ball more than anyone else and his stupid ****ing casual way of running with it just slows everything down and the momentum is gone in seconds. As for Brady, I thought he got the ball and it wasn't a foul, but there's no way it was onoly a yellow if he did foul him, there was no one anywhere near and the ref only booking him was obviously just a kopout because he wasn't sure it was actually a foul. Also Meyler is disappointing me, he cheats in the same way I always moan about opposition players doing. I know we need to be more streetwise but those little free kicks he wins just after nicking possession, I'd rather he just carried on with the ball to be honest.
I was listening on BBC London, and when that happened, the 2 commentators were obviously upset. So as they set up for their free kick, one says *if there's any justice Palace will score now*, followed by a great sounding hull accent from below them *if there were any justice we'd be winning 7-0 so shut the fook up*. Fair play to the commentators, they apologised for the language then agreed that was probably a fair point.
