Looking at the statistics it seems they are playing better than us.

Prossy has missed one from 8 yards and another harder one where he couldn't get on the end of a ball

Got to be hard on Pro to sit on the bench for so many games and then to be expected to save the game for us.

    question... what does this mean?

Centre by Sone Aluko, save by Lee Grant.

if we cant win against midtable mediocrity, we stand little-to-no chance against table topping Palace!

Disappointing result, and it had to be Marney that gets the goal, which adds insult to injury. Anyhow I am sure they will bounce back against Palace.

Burnley have the hex on us. Seems a banker 3 points for them every time. No matter how poor they are, they get one over us. Sickening. !

Not too much damage done, still 5th. Winning at home however, is a must.

We just weren't at the races today, Quinn and Koren were poor by their standards, Oli was ****e for the second week running and Meyler was even worse.

And **** knows what Simmo was thinking with some of those shots.

I didn't think Meyler played that badly, he seemed quite steady - he misplaced a couple of passes but aside from that he looked tidy.

I don't know what Evans has done to lose his place in the side, but I hope he's back in on Tuesday, we missed his energy today. Oli is about a foot taller and wider than everybody else but he gets muscled off the ball pretty much every time.

On the showing today and at Brum, I'd play Evans ahead of Meyler or Oli.

Agreed. Aside from halting a genuine counter attack, did Simpson really do anything today?

If I was Evans I would be pretty pissed, he played well when called upon, then lost his place to Olifinjana, Meyler looks poor aswell, Proschwitz may need to start ahead of Simpson against Palace, he missed two opportunities but at least he got two opportunities.

    Burnley deserved their victory.
Marney is a classless twat for his celebration.
Jimmy Saville is Dean Marney's dad- was the best bit of banter between the fans today. Although we didn't have much to sing about.
The whole team were poor apart from Chester, Faye, Bruce Jnr. Elmo's crosses were inviting in the second half but nobody did. Brady did ok when he came on.
I'll stick up for the keeper- i thought he did well.
Lino by the East Stand was useless- missed everything & looked at the ref for a decision and put his flag up too late.
Ref was dire and all- should have booked their keeper for time wasting.
