McShane got man of the match. Boost to his confidence but based on what I've seen I'd have given it to Aluko.
So the guy puts a man of the match performance in, and you slate him. You ****ing tool. Don't you understand the concept of support?
Lets keep behind the lads and manager last thing we want is a run of defeats and slipping down the table UTT
It seems that the substitutes made the difference tonight. Just goes to show you need players on the bench that can come on and change things, and we don't seem to have them yet.
Good point, John! Holloway made 6 changes for this game and - if I remember right - 8 for the game before. We don't have that many who can slot in and make a difference, as far as I can see.
No idea - however when we went up we didn't have an outstanding start to the season. I think we had something like 15 points from 13 games. Still early days with - it seems - everyone beating everyone else.
No - and I don't think he would have made any difference if he had. Perhaps Mclean should have come on earlier for either Simpson or Aluko who had worked their socks off but were looking tired after about 70 minutes.
Good enjoyable game played by 2 teams who want to play the right way. 5 goals. Shame that Hull gifted 3 to Blackpool. We score well worked and quality strikes and they get 2 inch tap ins. Not only is it the 6 goals but also 6 points chucked away and in both games Hull have played very well. Ok Chester was out injured but thats no excuse. My only other gripe was that it was obvious that Olifinjana was running on empty by the 65 min mark and yet Steve Bruce did nothing about it. So what IF he and Mckenna have had words. The team comes first. That imo is un-forgivable Steve. We needed fresh legs in the middle at 2-1 up and you did nowt until it was too late. Crazy.
We've conceded 11 goals in the last 4 games, and I can only think of one that came about as a result of good opposition play and not through a defensive ****-up on our behalf. Come the end of the season, our fixture list won't read 'vs Peterborough - had a lot of chances; vs Blackpool - played well'. It'll say 'vs Peterborough - L3-1; vs Blackpool - L3-2'. A defeat was inevitable last night. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who nearly had a Sean Coronary when he saw that we had a back-three of Paul McShane, Abdoulaye Faye and Alex Bruce
Will be McShane & Faye against Wednesday unless we sign somebody between now and Saturday, surely there can't be any more mistakes?
