I agree that having to turn didn't make things easy but I still think he didn't have to be spectacularly quick in body or mind to stick a foot out to clear it. By the time it came to the last ditch lunge it was too late.
I've never booed a City player, not even Simon Walton. The defence didn't play well in either game, only Chester was good in both games.
It comes accross that way re.Bruce jnr. One goal against in 2 games suggests otherwise though actually.
I booed Matt Wicks after he admitted he wasnt interested in playing and didnt care. He's the only one ever in the stadium though. I've abused the **** out of loads of them when I'm in the pub.
Like i said, he's on his heels, weve all been there. There's nothing you can do,and it's very frustrating. I got slated for missing an open goal from a yard out once, even though my team mate had whacked the ball across the goal at penis height. What you gonna do ?
After 16 pages its still not clear to me if Bruce Jr was standing still as the ball went past or running back towards the goal. And you all take the micky out of Burnsy and Swanny, can we have a poll please ?
I would say moving and watching the ball go past, although its unfair to lay all the blame on him, it was s**t all round.
Whilst your arguing about who's fault the goal was, let's not take anything away from a Trencin here, it was a fabulously worked goal and although errors made it possible, they still had a lot to do.
