Thanks, nice to see it from that angle. Just read through these comments, first goal was mostly Bradys fault, he was nowhere, if Bruce is being blamed it was because he was hungout to dry by Brady. Typical blunderside commentary!
Congratulations on getting through. I'll always pull for Livermore and Huddlestone, but I think I would like City anyway.
Its not pedantic, its correcting an error. When did being right become pedantic? If someone described us as Scottish would you shrug your shoulders thinking you knew who they meant?
I jumped the gun a bit here. There were 3 more tweets from Rick so more teams. ... Without a doubt he has. I imagine he lives in a specially adapted house with round the clock care, if not we as a society are letting him down. Anyway has anyone posted a. Link to their goal? Seen ours, well done to snoddeh and the rest of the lads

Bruceys ****ing great isn't he. Bit about the fans was brilliant. Best wishes to jelavic and his family.
For those who thought our performance was poor last night, can I just say, it was twice as good as last week.
See him trying to hold back a laugh when the Japanese or Chinese person is speaking right near the start.
Think the Stuttgart friendly match is a good fixture to have. We seemed very rusty at times last night. Onwards & Upwards.
Well despite buying a ticket last week I sadly missed last nights match as some of you know I was rushed into hospital on Saturday and after complications I didn't get released until an hour before kick off on Thursday and I was nowhere near close health wise to get myself to the game so here's hoping you all had an enjoyable night. Seems we can draw a Cypriot side in the next round and conviniently I'm in Cyprus over one of the legs. A man can dream!
Hope you make a speedy recovery. AC Omonia are based in Nicosia, so will be easy to get to wherever you are staying.
High points - We won Competitive match practice which should have us sharp for the first game of the season Elmo looked fit and played well. Sagbo took his chance and played very well. Fair enough, not as a scoring striker but as a strong player who holds up the ball and plays in others. Ince looked promising. Negatives Trencin proved they are a good team but there is no way we should be playing as badly as we did last night against a team like that. The amount of back passes and risky balls was ridiculous and invited unnecessary pressure. Struggled with a high pressing forward line. Brady looked terrible, out of shape and out of position. Midfield seemed non existent and Livermore and Huddlestone where non entities for large parts of the game. Midfield went missing. Near misses and inability to finish was concerning. Fitness levels don't look up to scratch yet. Misplaced passes was laughable. The worst thing that came to my attention was the overall teams lack of positioning.
