Confidence is clearly very low not sure you can turn that around in a few days. Injuries and selling our two best attacking players has ****ed us. Defensively we have too many players injured or just coming back from injury. Midfield is absolutely shocking and would struggle in League 2. Attack wise any team would struggle after losing their two major threats on the last day of the window. Manager I am giving him the benefit of the doubt with all the injuries and player sales though he has to change this formation and go defensive or we will get comfortably beat again.
Anybody not attending because it’s Valentine’s Day should hand their testicles in at reception ... ask for permission well in advance and promise to make tea first like I did
I’ll be at the match with GLP Jr cheering on an expected defeat. It’s just like the old days. I’m just praying McCann sticks Lewis-Potter up front. Let him have a crack at finding the back of the net. I feel sorry for him when he gets stuck on the right wing.
We will scrape enough points to stay up , even the really **** teams who spend all season at the bottom grab wins and very rarely go 8/9/10 without winning . I have enough losing betting slips to back this up , not sure it’ll happen tonight tho we need a few back first
Defenders Matthew Pennington and Ryan Tafazolli could return as Hull target a first win in seven league games. But the likes of Jordy de Wijs, Reece Burke, Martin Samuelsen, Jon Toral, Eric Lichaj, James Scott and Herbie Kane are on a lengthy injured list. Swansea have slipped to six points adrift of the play-off places following a four-match winless run. They will again be without midfielder George Byers as well as Mike van der Hoorn and Jordon Garrick. Match facts Hull have won nine of their last 11 home games in all competitions against Swansea City (W9 D1 L1), winning the last four in a row. Swansea City are looking to complete a league double over Hull for the first time since the 2014-15 season. Hull have lost their last five home matches in all competitions, their worst run at the KCOM Stadium since September 2018 (six in a row). Swansea have won just one of their last nine away games in all competitions (W1 D4 L4), a 1-0 win at Luton Town in December. Swansea are unbeaten in all four of their away league trips to Yorkshire this season, beating Leeds and drawing with Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town.
I'll be there in new seats, moved because the negatvity around us was so depressing, no matter what was happening on the pitch there would be constant complaining. Good passages of play would be met with silence or sarcasm. Thankfully I have a wife who hates Valentine's Day. Got her the tackiest Valentine's Card I could find in Aldi as a joke and I'm off to the game tonight. Think she's cool with that, but she was oddly quiet this morning...
I’m just off to bed im working nights. said to my boss I’ll be in a couple of hours late tonight ok I’m off to city. Can I stop you? You can try but I’ll be in at ten Ok Chazz
