We were playing a team in the top 2 - we were never going to piss all over them were we? We have to grind out results and it’s made twice as hard when lil ol Bobby doesnt give us **** all game.

Well, we might have missed the penalty and if we'd have left a man back their goal likely wouldn't have happened regardless of where the ref was.

Andy Dawson your time is now. Might as well put him in charge until the mad turk can convince someone normal to come and join his "family", whenever that may be

Their goal was due to the referee not blowing for a free kick.

But us not scoring a goal or having a shot on target is on the manager (system and some of the players he picked).

This passing around the back was bad enough under Rosenior. It’s actually worse now.

Another season where our squad isn’t that bad, but we’re not getting the best out of them.

Only positives - Hughes looks excellent and Puerta has quality.

We can’t keep starting games like we are.

Anyway, that’s enough ranting for now. I could go on all day.

The team & manager would have been crucified for that performance last season. In fact, they were, many times.

No team ethic, no team effort, no teamwork, no team understanding. No leadership, on, or off, the pitch. No visible tactics or player understanding of any sort of game plan. No urgency to chase the game.

**** off Walter, you’re **** & out of your depth.

Another International break in November, maybe we’ll be world beaters after that one?

This is really concerning and like I said, I'd judge it after ten games. We're now at that point, so thoughts:

We didn't look arsed from the get go today, but we've generally been pretty slow out of the blocks.

We didn't seem to have a clue in attack.

We've gone back to an either/or situation with attacking and defending when setting up.

He took off Puerta, who was having a great game and replaced him with Slater/Palmer who didn't change anything.

This formation/tactic doesn't suit having a lone striker, yet we persist with endless crosses into the box when Bedia's the only one there. I'd love to see a percentage stat of his header's won from crosses.

We looked more solid in defence and Hughes looked great.

That wasn't the improvement from Norwich I was hoping for, I understand the need for being tighter at the back, but a better manager would find a balance.

I want it to work, really I do; it'd be nice for us to have our turn with a German guy in charge who takes us up like Norwich and Huddersfield had, but in truth, we don't look anything like a top half team, let alone one chasing the playoffs. I've said this before, we know what the tactic is but it just doesn't suit the players we have. A concern really given that they were brought in to play in this exact formation. We had some good results against some crap teams, but we've now played four teams who will be up there at the end of the season in Sheff U, Leeds, Sunderland and Norwich and they just look a level better than we do.

If the aim is to get promoted this season, it isn't going to be with Tim Walter. Sorry if that sounds disloyal or whatever, I don't give a frig. If the aim this season is to just tread water and build the tactic and the team for next season, then maybe we can get away with that, but honestly, another 36 games like this and I can't say I'm enthused as to what's on the horizon.

I'm more than happy to be proved wrong, I want it to work out for him, I just can't see it given Acun's ambition.

The referee had no jurisdiction to blow for a free kick. It was poor awareness from him but there was no decision to make, the goal was 100% legitimate.

Kamara won’t be starting a game for a while after that performance. Looked completely disinterested and way off the pace.

The Millar change was 10 mins too late should hve been at the half. Kamara has Zero urgency constantly passing backwards. Feel like all the changes were too late.

ref had a shocker really a shocker. Worst I’ve seen in a long long time 4 mins of stoppage. They took 3 celebrating their goal..
I wish someone would just take the reins off these players I would live to see what they can do. For all the good in the first half how many shots did we have? Lots of over pass g and extra touches .. we hve a very very good team hear that really could be something if walter got out of the way..

Sack the manager ? Remind me who is available to come in and put this right, Dawson ? Do me a favour, he has had 2 goes already and neither were particularly memorable.

Walter will have us in a relegation scrap. Dawson stopped the Shota rot last time and pulled us clear.

They don't have to be out of work, we can just pay compensation to get who we want. So, potentially a lot of people are available.

Grant McCann is due another go at City, he's done Peterborough and Donny again...nah nah, I kid, I kid.
