I popped over for a squint at the Sunderland board, and they seem to think the practice they've had stomping out of the ground really early can somehow work wonders if they try to apply it to turning sour grapes into whine, but they did have these... I take my hat off to GM he's done a brilliant job this season as we will likely go up as Champions. Which is not an easy task just ask the supporters of clubs such as Sunderland & Ipswich and Sheff Utd before them. Recruitment was spot on and its great to see Hull lads wearing the jersey and playing well. Next season consolidation. Well done
I’ve watched replays of the penalty and can see nothing conclusive. You all seem to think no penalty. I have absolutely no idea whether it was and I admit that. There’s no way, unless you were actually there, you can know for certain whether it was or wasn’t as there us 1 camera angle which cannot eee through the players so we have no idea what it hit. The “foul” on the full back, Gooch slid across in front to block the clearance and your lad kicked him and fell over. All on the defender. As were both of your goals for us! Our left back is gash and Wilks knew it! Sadly the only person who didn’t see it early enough was our manager otherwise we’d probably have won
Don't ask him that Chazz. Apparently it has to be deliberate to count in Red and Yellow card incidents.
He used it for leverage for me. Watched it a few times and can only see him looking at the ball. Ref wasn’t even giving a foul. He didn’t blow his whistle for quite some time. Didn’t raise a hand for advantage. Yellow card baffled me actually
My literal words from the other thread: “But very few if it’s a pure accident (ie using arms for leverage when jumping). Normally if it’s out of control then that’s different. ” So at no point did I say it had to be intentional. I asked you outright if an accidental clash of heads (jiminez for instance) should carry the same punishment. You completely avoided that and every other question you were asked on the SAFC board. And, using your “if it’s accidental “ analogy, what are your thought on the penalty?? As, according to McCann, Jones apologised fir the accidental handball being given. Or does it only count when it happens to SAFC
leverage my arse He’s done him good n proper I agree the ref missed it, probably cos it was after the ball had gone, saw the state of greaves face and realised. Your lads were saying greaves was play acting!! agree about the penalty unless this refs chief has another angle I don’t know how he can say it wasnt It looked it to me as elders arm was up on gooch and the ball changed direction
You seem to be like most football supporters I meet. They only see things through their respective colours and because of that talk ****e at least some of the time.
Well as I say it was a pen I do think I’m pretty fair I can’t stand it when our players dive and call them on it I try not to call refs and blame them for everything
So you are talking impartially there and not through your own fans specs? his arm is straight. Not bent as you see when players mean to hurt someone. He’s leveraging. Maybe feeling for him too mind but not “gone to do him”. He simply isn’t that type of player. And if you’re admitting the ref missed it, you’re admitting he cheated. If he missed it, he can’t book him for it just because a player is injured
What was a pen? Ours? I have not once said I thought it was the correct decision. I also have never said it was incorrect as I just can’t tell from the only angle I’ve seen. Can’t tell what it hits. not sure which pen of yours you’re talking about if you are funny how a number on here seem to be calling me biased (which I admit I am, as almost every other fan is) yet when they say bias things fir their club, they’re right and not biased! Hypocritical
